Utterly useless agent as other reviews attest. Demanding proof of funds even to arrange a viewing - it's like they don't even want to sell their poor client's properties! When they're not doing that, they're ignoring enquiries entirely. Why anyone would use them I have ... Read Full Review

Utterly useless agent as other reviews attest. Demanding proof of funds even to arrange a viewing - it's like they don't even want to sell their poor client's properties! In recent years, the Carnforth branch of F-H has proved to be very friendly and helpful. In nearly two years Farrell Heyworth never once missed an opportunity to disappoint.
All an agent has to do is administer a prompt sale at valuation and keep the seller happy. They managed a total fail in all respects.
No matter how many times they were told and despite assurances from the manager these idiots could not even keep track of the solicitors details and were still writing to the wrong solicitor right up to the bitter end. They do not have a poor working administration; they have no working administration.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!! Don't know where to start to explain the uselessness that is Farrell Heyworth, We are in the process of a no chain sale and we are 8 months down the line and are still no nearer to completion - yes that's right I did say 8 months!!! The lack of communication is breath-taking, the inability to keep a customer informed is unbelievable. Listing a property for sale with no reference in it that the garden doesn't actually belong to the house must go against professional guidelines surely! Please don't use them - I wish I had never heard of them!

Terribly high. Higher than prestigious Bath agents. £100 guarantor fee, double fees for two people (even if they are a couple). Online it says £700 applicant renewal fee which though clearly a mistake, the staff member thought was the actual amount you would pay after 6 months to renew your tenancy.

Absolutely appalling service to us as potential tenants. Shown round a property that was clearly not ready to let covered in mildew and nobody had any understanding of what was required to sort it. Lost count of the times they said, Oh I don't know...I'll have to get back to you on that. Thankfully the process of completing the application in the office made us see they were truly and utterly incompetent so we didn't part with any money and backed out the next day. Just as well as it turns out the necessary work wouldn't have been done in time for our removal vans like they promised foolishly.
