From the very first viewing when looking at the property , Russel was very polite and helpful with all questions , I was still waiting in my mortgage to go through, which was going to take some time. I first viewed property with ball and Percival. Who didn't take me serious as I was first time buyer, and no mortgage in place for another 4 weeks, the woman in the office made me travel in with all my details and then ignored me. So done 2nd viewing with Farrell heyworth and they was excellent always keeping me updated and calling back and most of all took me and my wife serious, with great Paitence and understanding, I am very greatful to Russel, thanks again. Danny

From the outset there was a deceitful undertone with this Estate Agent. Initially when Dewi Caughter drafted the contract he left in the the inital 16 week sale period. I was explicit in that no period would be needed as they were the second agent to market this property (Winner takes all). He clearly didn't appreciate being picked up on this. Secondly he denied valuing the inital sale value and stipulated that it should sell 8 months later at £35k below the original amount that he wrote on the contract! Thirdly DO NOT BUY THE HOME SELLERS PACK FOR £99 + VAT. Amanda Smith informed me that it would boost right move figures. In fact it was mis sold as I had to drive all potential sales myself through my own FACEBOOK!!! It is unclear if this is down to apathy, lack of training or the fact that Amanda needed to lie about how the product / service marketed your home (incidentally that you have to do). They are so trusting in there selling tactics that NOTHING is via email. Its all telephone conversations and Estate Agent double speak. I'm pleased to say that I no longer market my property with this deceitful and distrustful agent. I will add my name for transparency should FH senior management decide to contact me

Today my wife and I had the misfortune to try and view a property advertised for sale in Southport by Farrell and Heyworth. we made a formal appointment, and even received a text message at 11.15am, confirming the date and time of the appointment at 11.30am!!
We waited until 11.45, then decided to phone the local office. my wife spoke to someone in the office, who could not explain what had happened, and proceeded to accidentally cut the connection with my wife. He did fotunately phone back and apologised, and then told us that they no longer had the keys to the property, as the keys had been given to the other estate agent, whose sale board was also displayed at the property!!
I cannot begin to think why this would happen - could incompetence have something to do with it?????

They advertise a branch in liverpool road birkdale which i spent half hour looking for only to find it does not exist. Lost my business. Con artists. Also they dont have the 21 offices they advertise. Just put my house on the market with a better agent for better... Read Full Review

Incompetent team.
Spoke to Chris regarding a viewing. I had earlier sent a request for a viewing and received a reply back saying they would speak to the vendor and get back to me. They didn't. Clearly didn't want my business. I had left it a week too.
Then rang and spoke to Chris who was apologetic. Promising to sort it. He leaves a voicemail later on the same day regarding a possible viewing the next day. Faith restored. Before I even manage to ring him back he rings again. Viewing booked in. I turn up and nobody there. I ring the office and no viewing booked in. Absolutely incompetent team. And the gentleman I spoke too enquiring where the agent was, doesn't even empathise that I am stood outside waiting as it's not my problem.

Absolutely appalled at the service I have just received at this branch. Booked an appointment time for an open house at a property. Got there 5 minutes early, waited with another family for half an hour only to be told they'd had enough viewings so the keys had been posted and the agent had left!! Apparently I was not on the system even though I'd had a telephone conversation with a woman about it. In which case she did not do her job properly either. I had to come from the other side of town and organise childcare. Needless to say I will be avoiding this agent where possible in the future. Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0
