Georgia Elliott and Oliver Mason of the Balham branch of Douglas and Gordon handled both a sale and a purchase for me. Relentlessly upbeat and supportive with a great local knowledge of the market and ability to predict timescales for offers; they had prospective buyers ticking over in their minds before the property even went online. You pay for a service and you get it. They know Balham and also how to act as a buffer between the various parties with good humour and in Oliver's case a lot of personal DIY and removal knowledge. I used D&G 19 years ago and they are still a local office with a terrific work ethic and client focused service.

Utterly shambolic from start to finish. Whether it was the incompetence of the letting agent at the beginning, the total lack of professionalism from all of the six property managers we had during our 18 month tenure, the aggression and lack of respect of the letting agents seeking new tenants for the property - unprofessionalism and a lack of manners is rife throughout the business. I implore you to steer clear of them, whether you are a landlord or a tenant. I've never experienced such lack lustre and fruitless customer service from a single entity in my life.
