After several phone calls and being given a wrong number I finally got through to Poppy Quayle who was not very receptive to my frustration. Due to a very unhelpful and unprofessional conversation I will be using other agents in the future. We have given our custom to W H Brown for over 20 years with our portfolio of rentals and it is a shame that this person has caused a breakdown in the relationship.

We own a property in the outskirts of Norwich that we wanted to rent out. WH Brown Norwich got in touch to manage the tenant find. This is the first property that we are renting out which was newly refurbished with high quality items, newly decorated, new flooring, carpets and curtains all around, in a peaceful residential area, so we were very particular who we wanted to rent the property to. Fabio dealt with process exceptionally from start to finish. He presented to us a number of possible tenants within a matter of days so we had the option to choose the ones that suited us. I cannot give Fabio high enough credit for his professionalism and drive to find the right people for us. He explained step by step what needs to be done and made the processes seamless, problem and stress free. If we ever need to use the service again we will definitely use WH brown and request Fabio. We recommend them to any landlord.

This certainly was not, as he expressed when challenged, in my mothers best interests.
I should have reported it there & then to the property ombudsman, however i instead gave them the chance but in the subsequent 12 weeks they proved callous, insensitive and their customer service is absolutely SHOCKING.
It took me one month to get an amended contract, after initially over- valuing the property (with the aim in mind of your fixed fee regardless of ultimate sale price) within 2 weeks they advised my mother to reduce sale price by £10,000. They arranged viewings and didn't bother even turning up, there was no feedback after viewings.
My mother had a heart attack over Christmas & was hospitalised. Upon coming out of hospital I requested contact with just myself to reduce her stress. They totally ignored this, they sent an agent with a couple to view un-announced at 5.30 in the dark, she was totally bewildered and refused them entry. Now they have sent a letter threatening she may owe them money if she sells to anyone who had been in contact with them.
My mother gave them the requisite 4 weeks notice after which they should not have been legally marketing her property. I have checked & they are still currently marketing it 3 weeks after their contract ended. Surely this is illegal?
I would never, ever recommend W H Brown to anybody.

I had placed an offer on a house which I was assured it had been accepted, and encouraged to get the ball rolling. This I did, only to find out that another offer had been placed, I then placed another offer. I was assured that the manager would call me back by the end of the day to let me know the outcome. I did not receive the call that day, nor the following morning. In fact I had to ring them repeatedly to try and get an answer as to whether my latest offer had been accepted. Poor, customer service and from a branch ,manager who is leading a team and supposed to be a role model.

I made an appointment a week in advance for my girlfriend and I to view a flat in the Westlegate area in Norwich. I made this appointment with Tristan, who had previously made several calls to me to 'see how things are going'. We agreed to meet at the flat at 10:00 Saturday morning. We arrived at 09:50, the weather was very cold and at 10:00 it began to snow and sleet. At 10:10, and with no sign of Tristan I called the Bank Plain branch of William H Brown. The first person I spoke to said he had no record of an appointment, but when I said I had arranged it with Tristan he placed me on hold for several minutes before Tristan finally came to the phone. I asked Tristan why he hadn't arrived, he said, "that a lot had changed since he had arranged the appointment and the owner was attempting to sell the flat to his neighbor". When I pointed out that this was entirely irrelevant to his failure to contact me to cancel the appointment and that we had been seriously inconvenienced, he continued to deny any culpability, refusing to offer any apology whatsoever. We dropped by the branch 15 minutes later to see Tristan personally, he refused point blank to take any responsibility for his actions, or lack thereof. Customer service doesn't get any worse. Is it any wonder these people have such appalling reputations. Conversely, I just sold my house in California and have experienced the complete opposite, timely, professional, quality service.

Extremely dodgy, unafraid to tell down right lies. Avoid if you are an investor selling - they do not market your property - you can guess their reasons. I was told that a property that had just come on to their website an hour before but had not yet been fully loaded was suddenly under offer and near completion. I checked with the owner - it was definitely available. They did their best not to show me the place, ensured 4 out 5 bedroom were locked and then did not forward an offer properly. Somebody stop these cowboys. They give even estate agents a bad reputation.

Viewings are a pleasure with Pascale, as she is well informed but allows you space to explore the property for yourself.
Friendly, supportive and helpful, Pascale is also a tenacious, proactive and unflappable character. Super organised, she has great integrity and will track down answers and report back honestly.
Pascale is a great communicator, quick to act and respond and has gone above and beyond the call of duty in her role. We really cannot thank her enough for making her part of the process as painless as possible!
