Being in the same house for 12 years and entering the 'moving house market' the choice or mortgages and avenues to go down was somewhat a maze. The service from Rebecca at William H Brown was fantastic. Nothing was an issue and the leg work completed to make sure we got the best mortgage deal and the best house for our money was worth the fee. I would have no problems in recommending Rebecca to anybody looking to secure the best mortgage deal and getting to their dream home. 10/10 for a job well done and reducing the pressure on me.

Absolutely disgraceful experience. We went to William H Brown as we were assured our property would be looked after during the letting term. Firstly they duped us into agreeing a 12 month contract, not mentioning that they are only contracted to carry out an inspection per term time. Then the inspection lacked pictures even though it shows on inspection sheets that photis should be provided for any changes we were then told thats down to the inspectors discretion. Then when the contract eneded we returned to our property nearly wrecked due to their incompetence at reporting anything it would seem. Their helpful attitude still rates at 0 and despite taking money off us for years they are quite happy to offer no help at all in retaining deposit. They also employ a company to carry out inspections that basically missed two massive areas of water damage that the tenant should have been liable for, without this we could not seek court action. We were offered only obstavles and now help even at high level complaints also this is a company wide attitude it seems. Avoid at all costs as they are basically out for what they can get...its not worth the stress. They have lied to us on numerous occasions and i have written evidence of this. Absolutely shocking

What agent could do to change your mind?
As with many estate agents, the fees are extortionate. They are more than happy to slap a £50 "admin" fee on any kind of minor change and simply refuse to change details if it involves them doing work.

A letting agent that manages a property should have at least some kind of caring attitude, here I felt I was an inconvenient part of their job that they wanted to get rid of as soon as possible.
