My husband and son received job offers and needed to relocate from Ireland to England and most of the other agents we spoke to did not offer much assistance as we did not have UK credit references and getting an approval a rental property would have been more challenging.
We contacted William H Brown whilst in Ireland and we were very fortunate to meet Amber Cobbin. She showed concern our situation and took the time to meet my husband and son when they visited England and showed them several properties. She assisted us in finding a pet friendly property to rent in Norfolk / Suffolk and we were able to move and start our jobs.
Amber is a Trainee Lettings Negotiator but she was very professional through out our dealings and kept us informed of the progress of the application every step of the way.
Amber is a gem and an asset to William H Brown. The move and the chapter in our lives would not have been possible without Amber's intervention.

She has acted professionally and always courteous. Her service, performance and supporting me and managing my property is exceptional. Large or small, Queency is a fantastic individual and great example to your company, this is only the second time, that your employees in property managing has provided me with such excellent service.
Ellie Stiff was your other staff, who had since left.
I share this and being a client to your services a fair number of years, this is a good example of the service, one should receive.
In particular to my needs as hearing impaired / Deaf, this is very important and Queency naturally rise to the enquiries without fail.
Thank you and appreciate all the efforts to your colleagues in lettings too, when the property is on the market to be rented out.

I rented a property managed by William H Brown 3.5 years, and it has been a positive experience. I feel that they are evenhanded with both tenants and landlords, and are quick to deal with maintenance issues. In particular I would like to single out Lauren Collins, who has always been really responsive, efficient and understanding throughout my rental period, and who has also stepped in to resolve some occasional miscommunications involving other members of her management team, and to pick up her colleague's jobs when they go on leave. Dealing with her has been a real pleasure, and has made the whole experience stressfree. I hope that in the management of my flat, I will be dealing with people at least half as competent and willing to go the extra mile as Lauren has been!

Have been dealing with the Statham branch of William H Brown and can only suggest that they are best avoided, they have had significant staff turn over and each time the selling staff that come out to visits have been less skilled and less enthusiastic.
They have managed to get a whole 6 people through the door in a year. Which is well below the market standards and even with that when cancelling contract they're immediately reminding of their competition clause that you can't see with anyone till the notice is done, which legally correct seems pretty poor form when they have woefully under performed.
Over all very lacklustre, unprofessional staff sent to do viewings and no ideas to help sell a property apart from the relentlessly lazy "Drop the price, drop the price" the battle cry of estate agents who don't really know how to sell.
Very much best avoided, much better options out there.

I wanted to do a quick review on Lisa Tricio the Lettings Support Centre Manager at William H Brown based in Grays.
Lisa has managed a property I owned in Barking a few years and has been a breath of fresh air in the way she deals with people. Her level of customer service is second to none and she has regularly gone well and truly past the call of duty to assist me. This has involved regularly going back into archives to find historic documents enabling me to claim refunds of tax, dealing with tenants in a really fair and professional way and organising suppliers to fix things in the property, when things broke down.
She is a real credit to this organisation and I am really grateful and appreciative of all the work she has done me over the last few years. These things don't go unnoticed and I have sent you a little something this week to the Grays office, just to demonstrate my appreciation, following sale of the property.
I have always felt really well looked after and you were always my first port of call whenever I had any problem. You always resolved things and quickly - so thank you.

I contacted (out of hours) William H Brown, to get the ball rolling the selling of my father’s house. I then had a wonderful young lady named Truly from the Worksop office in Nottinghamshire visit me at my father’s address and explain everything meticulously. Truly was relaxed, compassionate about our situation and explained in great detail our options. Truly wasn’t pushy which in all honesty having dealt with another estate agent the previous day I was expecting her to be. She is an asset to William H Brown and although I am only at the beginning of the process of selling, I already feel reassured that my father’s estate is in capable and trustworthy hands. Thank you!!
