Avoid. Avoid if you want to save yourself the stress and a horrible experience.
The worst, the worst, the worst state agency I ever dealt with.
A bunch of unprofessional, Liars, dishonest, rude, and lousy people. Especially the branch manager of the Maida Vale office
I placed an offer on a rental property with the Maida Vale agency. They took my debit card details over the phone. They tried to get me to agree to pay more money.
A couple of hours later one of the agents called back and informed me that they spoke with the landlord and he asked if I could commit for 18 months to rent the property. I immediately agreed. The agent said they would call me back immediately.
After hours of waiting, I have yet to hear back from them. I called back and found out that they were in the process of showing the property to more people to see if they could get more money for the property. I asked if the landlord had declined my offer and they answered no.
I told them This is not fair. The agent holds my offer in one hand and tries to get a better offer from another hand.
I contacted a few of Dexters’s directors. Not much help from the north office ( Hendon )director either. He got me to offer the full asking price and still have not heard back from anyone. It has been a week. The apartment is still on the website. They still showing the property.
I have not been told yet if my offer was accepted or declined.
Just a bunch of liars, unprofessional, and awful people. The director of Maida Vale was very rude, very unprofessional, and unethical. Now when I see a property advertised by Dexters I don't even open the link. A very hurtful experience. They will make your life hell instead of helping you. They just care about more more money. Just today after I wrote my review I heard from Hendon Director office that the landlord has decided to accept another offer. Wasted 10 days. Very unprofessional.

Dexters (Maida Vale) is at least incompetent, possibly criminal. They are highly unprofessional, inefficient, dismissive, and invisible.
First of all, they hid essential information that contradicted directly with the conditions of our offer to rent a flat, and told us AFTER signature that our conditions could not be met (fixing a leak in the ceiling), locking us up in a contract against our will using trickery. We have evidence that they were aware of the severity of the leak before our signature, and that it was significantly more severe than Eva made us believe during the viewing.
Then, during the tenancy, not a single repair we requested has been met in over 8 months, which includes for instance: broken windows, fully detached bathtub tap in the bathroom, broken shower curtain hanger and towel rack, broken wardrobes, broken kitchen tiles. This point is more about property management than the agency itself, but I believe it is worth mentioning how pathetic the entire picture of our tenancy has been.
Despite stating explicitly that we required the leak to be fixed BEFORE moving into the property, and after being tricked into this contract, we have become the caretakers of the flat for 7 months. When work finally started on the roof (7 months after we moved in), the council contractors left a hole in the roof, causing a massive new leak that eventually found its way into the electric system and the fuse box, which made the flat legally uninhabitable and we were forced to live in airbnbs for 10 days. Please note that dexters has no emergency line, the number they provide is a subcontractor which cannot provide any help or authority.
Since we raised our formal complaint, Negin (the agency “director”) is avoiding our calls, never calls back no matter how many times we try, and is reportedly in meetings all the time. The only way we have to get any sign she is alive is by pinging Ed or Ryan from property management.
Avoid Dexters Maida Vale at all costs.

The management team was incompetent and rude.
The property we rented was flooded and we called them requesting an emergency plumber visit, but they left without any follow up after they told us they will call back.
They did not have any knowledge in handling flooded property and we had to advise them what actions should be taken. They were very slow in organising necessary works and they stopped answering when we chased them.

We have just being charged high admin fees I am not sure for which service. Be aware if you experience any sort of issue in a property managed by them you will be left alone with no support whatsoever.

The worst agency I have yet to deal with. Initially speaking with a letting agent called "Shaquille" this person has no knowledge of properties the company is marketing, is very rude and unprofessional. His seniors are not much different. If you try and complain to a 'manager' you will get no where, in my opinion this branch is to be avoided at all costs, if you are a tenant you want to use an agent you can trust who will get the job done and look after you, these are not the guys.
I see other negative reviews reflect my experience.
Makes me thing positive reviews on their website and other review sites are fake!
