This is the worst sales agent I have ever dealt with. They have been appointed as sales agent for my property in Hull, HU6 for over 6 months now and they have not had one single viewing on my property during that entire period! They haven't tried very hard, don't communicate on a regular and agreed basis the status of any interest and have asked twice for price reductions, despite telling me originally what they think the property could achieve. Never never use these people, what a useful agency.

William H Brown's Holderness Road Branch in Hull was tasked with managing 24 apartments but failed to provide satisfactory service. After enduring eight months of inadequate service, we tried to terminate our contract, only to uncover a hidden six-month notice requirement. This lack of transparency highlighted the company's focus on securing fees rather than providing quality service or ensuring client satisfaction.
This negative experience with the local branch has convinced us to cease using William H Brown and its wider group for our property management needs nationwide. It reflects the importance of carefully choosing property managers who are truly committed to serving the interests of their clients and maintaining valuable business relationships.

I used this branch to sell our house following a recommendation. They certainly talked the talk until we had signed the contracts. I used this branch to sell our house following a recommendation. They certainly talked the talk until we had signed the contracts. Upon signing the contracts it took nearly 3 weeks to advertise the house, even though we were promised a maximum of 5 days. The first draft of the sales particulars looked as though a 5 year old had drafted it. So we had to write our own. They wouldn't put on a floor plan unless we paid another £300. Bearing in mind we were already paying them £1800. So we had to draw our own floor plan and send it to them. We stated we wanted a 'for sale' sign up but this did not turn up for 5 weeks after at least 4 phone calls. They would not return phone calls. They promised the would get the best price for our house which they didn't, they strongly advised we accepted the offer we had, as the house market looks to be slowing. Only to find out a couple of weeks before completion that the person buying our house was friends with the estate agent.

After having received poor service from the branch itself, i was directed to Charlotte Edwards at the Managment Team (Wirral LSC)
After hitting a brick wall several times with the branch, Charlotte contacted me in response to my complaints regarding maintenence issues with the house i'd just rented.
From the minute Charlotte took on my case she went above and beyond. She tirelessly worked to resolve the issues that kept happening with the house/landlord.
She always kept me informed, fought for me when the landlord was resistant and made me feel like i wasn't alone dealing with it all. Nothing was too much trouble, admittedly i was not the most receptive when Charlotte first contacted me due to the amount of times i had been told someone would be call me back to then be let down.... but Charlotte did not dissapoint. I've had to end my tenancy early but feel Charlotte deserves recognition for all the hard work she has done to avoid this. I cannot fault how Charlotte dealt with everything, she was friendly yet professional, her levels of patience was oustanding considering the amount of issues that was given to her!
Unfortunately i would not use the branch in the future, Charlotte did however restore my faith in the Maintenance Team.
Thank you again Charlotte for all that you did for me, it was greatly appreciated!
