Terrible communication, took me 7 days after daily calls to speak with laney about releasing my deposit nearly 2 weeks after the check out date with my landlord and them agreeing to give back the full deposit! After finally speaking with laney and emailing her my account details on Monday 15th I heard nothing back, telephoned her on Wednesday 17th turns out she was then on holiday and someone else was filling in for her. But no one knew anything about my deposit! On Thursday received an email informing me that my deposit would be released. In my opinion this is totally unacceptable as people in the renting position NEED that deposit back ASAP after checking out from their pervious property! The bracknell office which was my local office was also terrible with communicating not only with myself but also the reading branch and financially put myself and my partner in trouble by taking money when they shouldn't of all because they didn't communicate! My landlord has been great and has also experienced issues with prospect with lettings!!
I'm glad now that I am with a different estate agent and so far everything that has happened has been clearly explained and if anything their communication skill have been too much!!!
I would NEVER use prospect again! I'm extremely annoyed by the lack of communication, customer service, empathy and compassion towards it's tenants especially as we were first time renters! And also working within the customer service industry it is just disgusting!!!!!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Communicated properly and kept me upto date with where my money is!!
