Very bad experience with prospect lettings agency. They are only interested in taking the fees, not in providing a good service. Very bad experience with prospect lettings agency. They are only interested in taking the fees, not in providing a good service. Dont make sure the property remains in good condition. Just do not give a damn!! Very disappointed that they just do not care about how the tenants they put in a property treat others.

Terrible level of customer service.
I have dealt with Anna and Tristan and both of them were unprofessional, incompetent and unresponsive.
I had to go back and forth between them and the landlord to sort out their error. I had to constantly call them due to their luck of response and communication. I was really surprised by the unprofessional way Tristan communicate with me trough email.
Also due to miscommunication from Anna regarding the parking, one of my visitors received a parking ticket, which again had to be resolved by myself.
The whole experience with Prospect was really awful.

I did have other letting agents calling me to offer and discuss other properties, but I found none of them as professional as Chase and felt some kind of loyalty towards him as he was always helpful, truthful and honest throughout the process of finding my new home.

I would without hesitation or reservation recommend Prospect to Family, Friends and colleagues if they were in the market for renting a property. Obviously without question I would also recommend they ask for Chase Jacobs as they would be a long time trying to find a better person to help them.
In short a very happy client and fantastic client experience.

Comments (0)I've recently used Prospect to sell my house in Bracknell. The process didn't start brilliantly with some very pushy sales tactics from the assistant manager. I decided to go with Prospect as they were the only viable option for me. I was really pushed into using their recommended solicitor. This was a pretty horrible experience and involved putting a lot of pressure on me to instruct the solicitors there and then so I was unable to take the time to shop around. I was told in no uncertain terms that my sale was very likely to fall through or be severely delayed if I did not use these solicitors. I was also told they would be excellent at communicating with me and with Prospect to find the perfect time to serve my tenants notice. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The solicitors eventually managed to exchange nearly 2 months after the date they said they would 'easily' be able to exchange by and so I was left out of pocket by over £3000 through lost rental income. I would never have gone with these solicitors without the high pressure sales tactics and it has left a really sour taste. It was made clear to me by a member of staff at Prospect that they have had lots of problems with these solicitors. It's really disappointing that they were happy to lie and push me into using these solicitors just so they could get their referral fee.

I've given Prospect plenty of time to deal with the complaint and they felt unable to do anything to make things right. After much discussion, they half-heartedly offered to refund the commission they received from the solicitors. I declined this offer as I believe it was mainly an attempt to try and stop me from taking my complaint to the Property Ombudsman who are now investigating the tactics used, and frankly it was much too little too late! I will update this review with the conclusions of the Property Ombudsman investigation when it comes through.
The 2 stars are for the excellent transaction support and I would happily give this element 5 stars! Angela communicated brilliantly and did everything she could to try and get the sale across the line. Generally, the rest of the experience was good and the visits were usually well managed and communicated. They found a buyer relatively quickly and I got close to the asking price. It's such a shame that what could have been a good experience was let down so badly by pushing me into using the wrong solicitor.

Never again. To sum up in words; unprofessional, incompetent, useless. The list goes on...
Boarderline criminal charges for doing nothing. The property was in an awful state of repair.
Even this review, we were asked to complete before we had even moved into the property!
From start to end, we had problems. And they charged us for the privelidge.
I would never recommend renting from Prospect... you have been warned!!

For renting a property they charge nearly £900 for admin fee but they don't do any of the work. They pass it other companies at the end.

Unprofessional, poorly managed and very bad customer service. They don't care about you after they have received the initial payment. They are putting you in very stressful place, keeping everything to last minute. Once they have received your money, they washed their hands and hand over things to 3rd party companies. Now you have to track these people, companies that you never heard before. Prospect is not there to follow up or at least to give you an update what going on.
I cannot reverse things back but I will make sure other people not get in to this trap. Please avoid these people they are charging you unnecessary and don't do any of the work as an estate agent.
This review specifically for Prospect Bracknell branch based on very bad experience I had when I'm trying to rent a property. I cannot believe how these guys surviving in the market with this attitude.

Avoid this estate agents like the plague!
We requested both a sales and rental valuation for our property which was confirmed for Monday 28 January at 12:00 pm. The time came and went and not even a courtesy call to say they were not going to attend. Communication is paramount in our opinion which in this case was non existent.
We admit that we had previously requested a sales and rental valuations which they attended and provided, although the staff have changed since this happened. Some time has passed since we initially requested the valuations but this is due to circumstances beyond our control but does not excuse the conduct of this estate agent in this instance.
Unfortunately the lowest score we can give is a 1 but rest assured that if we could a high negative score would have been given.

Shocking service! Jordan was very helpful- I am a teacher and can't always answer the phone and he remembered this and sent things through email which is much more convenient to me.
I am so happy that I went with Prospect and would highly recommend them.

I have dealt with Prospect twice now, in total my properties have spent less than three weeks on the market before achieving 'sold'. They have kept me aware of how they are going to achieve a sale for me and how the whole team are working towards this goal. Darren Winter has been instrumental in both my sales - I asked for him by name and set him a challenge of having my house under offer in ten days - which he did. I have found him both professional and personable. He spoke to me like a human being and with respect unlike other estate agents I have dealt with from other companies. I felt that he was totally committed to my sale. In no instance did it take longer than half a day for Darren to answer any of my questions or assist me in any way. I would recommend Prospect highly to anyone looking to sell their house for the right price, the whole team are efficient and proffesional.

After suffering the most unbearable stress the past 4 days due to our buyers pulling out of our purchase, we were contacted by Darren Winter who after speaking to on numerous occasions throughtout our first sale of our house contacted us regularly to see if him and the prospect team could offer assistance, after a brief chat and a visit from him he put us into contact with a lovely couple of investors who upon seeing our property made a swift offer that was gladly accepted, he was very professional and extremely sympathetic considering our situation and went out of his way to ensure the investors would come to see the house a few hours after initially agreeing the sale contract with him, a lot of estate agents talk the talk and can't back it up, Darren has put my faith back into the house buying and selling game I highly recommend him and his team, the level of service was exceptional and we are thoroughly grateful for his help in this stressful time.

On initial Letting of the property, Prospect were great.
At the end of each tenancy I found Prospect challenging to deal with. When there is any negative news or questions, I find I've had to chase repeatedly and still not received a response to date.
To this end, I have to question if they ever followed up on previous requests I've had.
I made a decision to sell the property but due to the issues I had, I decided to sell with another agent and during this time, Darren was quite tenacious with trying to "win" us back over to sell with Prospect. I just wish they had been that way during the time when we had them managing the property.

Prospect were one of a number of agents that we saw when selling our house, they came across really well and we decided to go with them and one other agent.
the photos were excellent and the write up of the house was also really good, they brought round quite a few prospective buyers and were good with feedback and communication. It was a little off putting having to speak to multiple people in branch and we would have preferred to have one contact that was dealing with the sale but that is a minor niggle.
We ultimately ended up selling through prospect.
It was their post sales service that unfortunately let them down, all the communication and energy from before the sale seemed to disappear and we were left with out of office reply's to email and trouble getting updates on what was happening with the chain.
This got worse as the sale cycle went on, it was actually the estate agent that we were buying our new house from that we got the most information from and it was this agents communications that we started to rely on.
House moving is so stressful and a big part of that stress it is not knowing whats going on with the rest of the chain or feeling that your estate agent isn't doing everything they could to move things along, unfortunately this is how we felt with prospect and so we wouldn't recommend them, even though they did a great job of selling the house!

Tristan was very professional from the start and he took my needs and wishes into consideration. Because I was relocating to the area, he understood that I needed to find a house quickly so he arranged for me to see a number of properties within one appointment. I found the property I was happy with and signed the forms that day. Tristan was very helpful in getting things set up smoothly and has been very quick to get back to me about any queries.

The prices are high, however there is not much difference from other agencies. However for the service I have recieved I was more than happy to pay the requested fee.

Tristan has been a star! I was looking for a property to rent with very specific criterias and a very restrictive timeline, plus I was living 3 hours drive from Bracknell which made everything even more challenging.
Since I first contact Prospect, Tristan has been in contact with me regularly. Especially for us this was really important as we knew that someone was actively doing their best to find us a property.
When he has found a couple of properties, He arranged the viewings outside his working hours just to make sure I were able to see them. The houses exactly met my criteria and I have then choosed one of the 2, to be my future home.
He is a very professional and friendly guy, and was really nice to meet him in persone. He has been very professional afterwards as well, and he was also replying to some of my emails during the weekend.
That's what I called excellent customer service.
Overall has been a great experience and really lucky to have had Tristan as the agent I was dealing with.
