I contacted (out of hours) William H Brown, to get the ball rolling the selling of my father’s house. Within minutes a young man from the business was ringing me organising a valuation which I needed probate. He mentioned that staff work a later shift during the week in able to deal with people like myself who work past office hours - I thought this was amazing! And definitely helped my situation. I then had a wonderful young lady named Truly from the Worksop office in Nottinghamshire visit me at my father’s address and explain everything meticulously. Truly was relaxed, compassionate about our situation and explained in great detail our options. Truly wasn’t pushy which in all honesty having dealt with another estate agent the previous day I was expecting her to be. She is an asset to William H Brown and although I am only at the beginning of the process of selling, I already feel reassured that my father’s estate is in capable and trustworthy hands. Thank you!!

Following months of them constantly chasing me for a listing on a property another agent was already marketing for me we asked WH Brown Worksop branch to list the property. What a mistake.
To say their processes are overly bureaucratic is an under statement. This seems to be a regular theme on their reviews.
They refused to send out a contract for signature by email until we provided a postal address to them but could not explain why, other than "its our Company policy".
Although they claim they are dedicated to customer service they did not reply to multiple messages from us even though they had originally chased us night and day for the listing. Their administrator
They use an online ID service called Credas which is very temperamental and difficult to use. When it wouldn't accept our ID documents their response was "you will have to come into branch personally" even though that was a 2 hour round trip.
Three weeks on and the property was still not up for sale. When I finally got a response from them and I called the Worksop Branch Office Manager her response was "we dont want to list your property as you dont want to comply with our Company policies".
If you are considering using WH Brown Worksop dont be taken in by their marketing about "fantastic customer service" and "how much they care about their customers". Its just not true.

Strongly advise against use. 60% of the viewings didn't turn up ...possibly not the fault of the agent, but who knows and nether the less quite frustrating. A couple of the viewings who did turn up commented on the poor service... Read Full Review

Appalling customer service and attitude. Progressed at a snail pace. Strongly advise against use. 60% of the viewings didn't turn up ...possibly not the fault of the agent, but who knows and nether the less quite frustrating. A couple of the viewings who did turn up commented on the poor service they received in trying to get a booking! Phone calls rarely returned, resulting in having to constantly chase them. Initial sales conversation was really good and informative, house photos amazing, but thereafter they were uninterested and provided no more value that the do it yourself internet sites.

What agent could do to change your mind?
they could have been a better service provider and helped to provide the service in which they promised. they are not interested in anyone just keeping the monthly figures to their targets.

Two months into the tenancy the tenant defaulted payment and refused to pay, w h browns told me they would deal with this,this is what you pay us for. So it's now 4 months later and the tenant is still refusing to pay and w h browns inform me they issued him with a section 21 for rent arrears and that's all hey can do! So I'm now sending money home to pay for some delinquent to live in my house and I can't do anything about. I now have sort a solicitor out myself from abroad to take it to court, which they inform can take months and cost me plus pay my mortgage. If you are a landlord there is no help or protection for you.
