Absolutely shocking the way they treat customers.
The initial meeting was good, but the minute you sign on the dotted line for them to sell your property, it all goes downhill from there.
Three times I had to tell them I didn't want accompanied viewings (I worked in new homes for 14 years, so I think I know how to sell a house!) and someone would "be on their way"!!!!
I felt that the staff were patronising, and couldn't really be bothered.
In the end I changed agents to get a better service (of which I did) but in the end one of the original viewers made an offer, so we were reverted back to WHB.
The sales chasing was hit and miss, even our solicitor said he didn't know who was representing us for the first few weeks!!
The straw that broke the camels back was the email I received a week before we completed from Amanda, to say that they had referred us to the debt collection part of WHB and they wanted us to pay ASAP! I rang and asked the member of staff to get Amanda to ring me as we had not yet completed on the sale!!!!
No one ever called, not to apologise for their mistake, but also to tell us we had completed!
Discusting way to treat customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I chose William H Brown Grantham because I thought they were a long established, professional and respected Estate Agents in the town. They are now part of a larger group and not independent. I chose William H Brown Grantham because I thought they were a long established, professional and respected Estate Agents in the town. They are now part of a larger group and not independent. My error! A big mistake.
Unfortunately, I found them to be rude, sarcastic, not transparent, bullying and rather disrespectful. In my view they did not look after the security of my property, leaving doors unlocked on one occasion. They were rather negative about the potential of the property when speaking to me directly. I therefore now question what they may have said to potential buyers?
There are so many Estate Agents in my home town of Grantham.
Please, please research carefully and choose wisely.

Fantastic service from start to finish from the letting team at William H Brown in Grantham.
Catherine and Sophie are so helpful and get straight back to me with all my queries. The first person I made contact with was Catherine, she is very friendly, professional and supportive. Knowing that I was desperately looking for a place to rent and was living in a town 3 hours drive away, she tried her very best to arrange a viewing for me to fit my schedule. Moreover, she took time to find and contact other William H Brown branches near me, so that I could hand in documents without travelling all the way down to Grantham. She took the initiative to make all these arrangements for me.
Thank you, Catherine and Sophie, for all your help making our move go so smoothly. It is greatly appreciated!

Listed our property with William H Brown, the whole process was handled horribly. Sent round loads of time wasters. Had an offer withdrawn in half an hour and they still sent us a letter 2 weeks later causing confusion. promised the house would sell in 4 weeks... 3 months later and very minimal... Read Full Review

I had an appointment agreed with William H Brown estate agency in Grantham. For the following properties:
Cottesmore Close
Kedleston Road
Queensway
Unfortunately we were only able to view 5 Cottesmore Close because of racism.
As we were standing with my husband on front of Cottesmore Close a gentleman from William H Brown who was coming to show as the property approaches us with a very unprofessional way asking have we not been told we need masks and gloves before viewing. I replied to him I have spoken to the manager Amanda Hoskins several times over the phone and exchanged several emails and not even once she said anything anything about gloves or masks.
He was extremely unprofessional during that time and refused to even look at us. We were supposed to have two other viewings with William H Brown but he told us it has been cancelled due to sickness and this was only 15 minutes from the viewing appointment.
He sets off with anger without saying anything.
We are extremely disappointed with the behaviour of the gentalman and with the manager Amanda Hoskins for not mentioning to us beforehand about masks and gloves because we travelled from Godmanchester with our 4 young children for these viewings.
I tried to leave a feedback on the feedback email I received but for some reason the page does not open and shows "error"
I called Amanda Hoskins and asked her why did she not say it was compulsory to have gloves and masks on and she didn't have answer to simple question.
We have had viewings with followings:
Pygott and Crone
haart
Newton Fallowell
Purplebricks
EweMove
All of these estate agents have offerd gloves and masks to be worn.
But William H Brown the gentalman who was there to show the properties was racist and nothing else.
Extremely disappointed with this behaviour

We have recently had some issues with the property and initially wasn't aware who could help me and what to do!
I got throught ti sequence and was put through to Kym, instantly I felt like someone was on my side and all the stress seemed to disappear!
Not only did she listen to me moan and groan about the issues we had but she also made me feel better knowing I could moan to her if needed.
Being the manager of a Customer Service team myself I know how awkward and difficult it can be dealing with situations such as ours, but Kym took everything I said on board and has dealt with the problem very efficiently and effectively, constantly chasing the contractor needed, the landlady and checking in with me daily.
Kym continuously made me feel like something was being done to help and that I wasn't trying to get the issue sorted by myself.
Kym is comforting and just such a lovely person to speak to one the phone.
If you ever had issues with your property and manage to speak to Kym I would class you as a very lucky person! So professional and very down to earth.
If I ever have issues with the house again I'll be straight on the phone to Kym.
Thank you for all your help and support through the issues and look forward to speaking with you soon.
