Absolute cowboys, they have been mismanaging my property for a long time. First they didn’t get the contractor to repair as agreed and completely ignored my instructions and at times they approve repairs without even informing me. Excellent experience.
Purchased and sold via Pattinson, Gosforth.
Kurt explained the selling procedure and was great with the selling details and photos of my property. Kind and patient too.
Mainly dealt with Keri and Sharon. Loved their friendliness , kindness and were so very helpful. Chased up any queries I had and resolved problems. Will definitely use them again!
Would recommend them to everyone! No complaints at all.

AWFUL. Rubbish from the start for a first time private renter. I explained that I was unsure what to do with deposits, paperwork and such so my whole apllication process took much longer and I was handing in the wrong things without being advised that she was still waiting for the right documents, so I thought I had done everything right! It took any longer than two weeks to get signed up anyways rendering my initial holding fee useless!!! No help at all. I was misinformed when I handed my deposit over that it would automatically be put into a deposit holding scheme where nobody can touch it until I moved out. Well that was WRONG, yes it is in my contract that the landlord has full control over my deposit, but I did not get that AFTER they took my money. I emailed for help twice after I left the property to which nobody replied, not even to say they couldn't help! It was stressful enough moving right at the start of the corona lockdown without having any help. What is the point of a letting agency for renters?? I am now stuck in a dispute three months later and I don't think I will get it back. Don't give your customers face to face misinformation about the protection of their monies - just be honest and straight up. I have avoided using Pattinson again just for the fact their customer service is severly sub par, especially at Gosforth. DO NOT RECCOMEND FOR RENTERS.

How an estate agents can be so unorganised as their only job is to let people in properties and they have failed to do this so miserably is beyond me. They call back saying a colleague had rang me in the morning and had a conversation with me about cancelling the viewing and rescheduling to Saturday (which never happened). To have the absolute cheek to bare face lie is ridiculous! Completely put off. Will never rent a property through Pattinson Estate Agents.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Customer care training definitely required! You are loosing yourselves thousands of pounds of business every week and letting down your customers (both buying and selling). It is such a shame since you have so many lovely properties.

I am still looking for a house so I do not want to go into details of why I am writing a negative review in case it makes the service even poorer. I will just say that I spoke to a few different members of staff and after a few mistakes had been made on their end, I received no apologies and little was done to rectify the situation. When I am looking for houses now, the only way I would go for a Pattinson's property, would be if it looked like the perfect house for me. As their pictures and descriptions do not seem the best, I doubt this will happen.

No respect from the agency at all.
My husband and I were going to view a property at 12pm this morning in Benton NE3. Unlucky the metro got delayed plus we traveled quite a long distance, so it was exactly 12pm when we arrived the area but we had to walk 10 minutes to the property. I called the agency straight away apologizing for our being late. What shocked me was the girl who picked up the phone was saying that they could not wait for 10 minutes because the next viewing was 12.15pm. And she also said we should take a taxi there but not metro.
First, I viewed property with so many agency and I never had someone telling me that we should take taxi instead of metro to the property. Even the taxi could meet traffic and people could still be in late. If I had to spend £15 for taxi per viewing then we gonna get bankrupt before we could even pay for the property?!! I know being late is not good, but we are human and things happen. Plus I did call them immediately to ask for understanding, as a customer. We sometimes wait for some agents from other agencies too when they were in late and we never just walked away and tell them * off. (sorry for that, it was how I felt this morning from Pattinson's agent)
A company should always allow their customers some incidents, as long as they try to communicate and try to ask for understanding. Also, how can they put two viewings with only 15 minutes in between??? Even if we did make it, we could possibly only stay for 10 minutes in the property without having time to ask questions because the agent was gonna tell us to leave for the next viewing? It's really unacceptable. Buying property is a big decision, and we are spending lots of money on it. We want to be respected and be understood.
Horrible experience. My husband and I had to travel all the way back with a bad mood. Why do I ever want to recommend my friends or people online to use this agency?? Not a chance.

I was informed by a member of staff I could leave the rented property one month early as the landlady was selling. I put my written notice in one month in advance of the new leaving date and I never heard anything so I presumed everything was ok for that date. On the day I was moving out I contacted them regarding the keys and was told that it was on the notes I was leaving early and to drop the keys off at Gosforth, which I did. A week later I got a call saying the landlady hadn't received her rent. I went through the whole explanation, to which I was told I was still liable for the rent and they would use my deposit to cover it to which I refused to allow them to do. I then got a call from the member of staff basically accusing me of lying and just leaving the property early without permission. I am in the process of putting a complaint in for the member of staff in question. I am also raising a dispute with the TDS. It is down to their lack of communication with each other, and members of staff saying one thing then denying it that I am now in this position. I was at the property for 11 months without any trouble all inspections were fine, so why would I just leave one month early if I didn't think it was ok to do so ?

What agent could do to change your mind?
Remember the prospective viewers really want to spend hundreds of thousands of pounds, some of which will come to you. Remember you are acting for the vendors, and if you put off viewers, you will not be popular with vendors.

This appears to be how they usually work, looking at other reviews. The house looked affordable, and I was really really keen. Now, could I get Pattinsons to arrange a viewing? To be fair, there was one viewing I had to cancel as I was stuck in traffic, but when trying to rearrange, I have never met a more obstructive agent. I was prepared to offer higher than the house eventually sold for if it was as good as it looked, but any attempt at rearranging a viewing was thwarted. It really felt like they couldn't be bothered. When I, as a potential customer, was told that they wouldn't open up a house twice in one day (company policy, apparently) I gave up. Shame - looked like a lovely house. I'm sure the vendors would have liked the 10k more I would have been able to spend, too.

As an executor of my deceased mothers estate I was responsible for the sale of the property.
The responsibility for selling the property was given to two estate agents one of which was Pattinsons.
I found that dealing with the staff at Pattinsons was a pleasure in marked contrast to the other agent. The staff where courteous, reliable and kept the executors informed of progress on a regular basis. It goes without saying that I can recommend Pattinsons to anyone wishing to sell properties.

Terrible! I have bought and sold property through Keith Pattinson. A different person calls you up everyday 5/6 times a day about the same property for sale trying to get the commision. The staff are not trained properly and their staff turnover is amazing. I would go into branch to get updates and each time its a different person. They book viewings and don't turn up or have problems with staff/keys etc etc, excuse after excuse. They raise their fees whenever they feel like it, invent ways to get more of your money such as 'buyers premium' or 'buyers private treaty' what the??!! More ways for Keith Pattinson to get your money. Its whole company is a complete joke, there are maybe a handful of good staff who have stuck it out in this awful company. They don't care if you're buying or selling as long as they have your money. Their motto is something like if its not selling the price is too high and I'd get a phone call every week to reduce and reduce, people would call me asking if I wanted a valuation when my house was on the market. I'd get sales leaflets though my door to put my house up for sale with them - when there's a Keith Pattinsons board outside?! Funny that one! Do not use!! Go to Alistair Sundin or Jan Forster or Signature, best all round!
