Possibly the worst scamming agent known to man, if I could put 0 rating I would. Poor customer service, rude staff, they will try to scam you at any chance possible for the commission. Possibly the worst scamming agent known to man, if I could put 0 rating I would.
Poor customer service, rude staff, they will try to scam you at any chance possible for the commission. I don't know what kind of talents they recruit but they sure as hell aren't talented! They do their job half assed and expect to keep the money.
They refuse to answer questions asked and reply with irrelevant information in an aggressive manner. They change policies over the phone and then claim that they have never had those types of policies! Ridiculous!
At first before you even sign we were required to give them a 5 star rating before they even did anything. They are far from 5 stars... They don't do business honestly and do not try to help the clients at all.
Honestly, stop while you can, don't use them, especially for foreign landlords as I am certain they take advantage of the fact that some may not speak English that well!

If you are selling a house through Kings Estate Agents in Harlow and you do not live in the property I advise you to stay clear of them.
A house in my area came up for sale for the asking price of 215,000 I was willing to pay the asking price. I arranged a viewing and put in a solid offer.
The estate agent from Kings Harlow didn't call me for a few days so I sent him a text as i took his mobile number down at the viewing. He called back saying he put an offer in at 185,000 and waiting to hear back he then said see you later Nick which is not my name. I then told him my name and that why have you offered the owner less then what I have offered he pretended the signal dropped for a few seconds then said he's trying to get me a better deal??
The next day I rang them up at there office and was told by another agent that the owner has accepted an offer on the property. I asked how much I was told they can not share that information but it was higher then the asking price.
Long story short I just went online on the land registry paid £3 and found out the new owners details and can you guess the sale price was £185,000 ! I was willing to pay the asking price of 215,000.
So in conclusion if you are selling a property avoid Kings Harlow Estate Agents like the plague.

Incompetent, dishonest,unprofessional and even blackmail.
Trying to buy property, Kings agent was not prepared as did not turn up on time at property, knew nothing house. When we placed an offer they delayed getting offer through to seller. Offer was accepted which we received confirmation email from agent, a day later we were told that there were other offers and for us to be in the running, we had to use Kings solicitors otherwise they would put the other offer forward in preference - which I was outraged at.
We were then told later that day we had been, out bid - fair enough, it happens.
Days later, the property appears still appears on another agency website , whom I phoned and they sd it was still for sale (Express Agency).
Frustrated I drove round the property, and found a Kings 'Sold' sign.
This has been a very stressful experience, leaving with a perception of estate agents as being untrustworthy and not caring about customer service or giving the industry a good name

Communication is atrocious. Calls take days to be returned.
Customer service is appalling. I can't think of any other scenario where a sales person can be so unhelpful and obstructive during a sale, which inevitably earns them commission.
I wouldn't trust them with the sale of groceries let alone something as valuable as your home.
Avoid like the plague.

This agent called me when a flat became available for a knock down price in August 2012. The flat was being marketed by another agent for offers in excess of xxxxxx. The agent told me that the vendors had asked them to market the property because the other agent had only got them 3 viewings (e.g they were rubbish) and they wanted a couple grand more than the guided offer price. The day i viewed the property with the agent, the vendors then decided they wanted another couple grand more. In good faith based on the agent 'i said i would find you a good deal' - I stupidly offered an amount and - big mistake i know- told the agent the most i was willing to pay. He told the vendor who of course accepted the higher offer. The agent said he had to convince the vendor to accept the offer (by the way, the flat is still being marketed for sale by the other agent - the guided price is the same). I was then hounded on an almost daily basis re conveyancing (700GBP more expensive), copy of ID etc. I had a gut feeling that i was paying more for the flat and family opinion confirmed this. I had another viewing and saw the flat needed more work on it so i withdrew my offer. They had the audacity to complain quote 'i will have to deal with the backlash'. No doubt i wont be hearing from them about any other possible viewings. Everyone i know who has had dealing with Kings have all said - watch out for them. They are known to be pushy, agressive and deceitful.
