I used this estate agency as a landlord, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. They withheld my tenant’s deposit to cover unreasonable fees that I never agreed to pay. Their lack of transparency and blatant dishonesty is shocking.
Not only did they fail to act in my best interests as a landlord, but they also demonstrated complete disregard ethical practices. Their behavior was unprofessional, and their communication was poor at best—often misleading or outright .
I have a property portfolio and have worked with many agencies, but this is by far the worst. I will never use them again and strongly advise other landlords to steer clear. Save yourself the stress and avoid this company at all costs.

I just want to give Erena Philipos, a young real estate agent working for Kings and Chasemore, a shout out as she showed real professionalism and really accommodated my elderly parents and me on a tricky time schedule. Although we did not want the property she asked for our feedback and wanted to learn in a really pleasant and positive manner. I had never met this young person till yesterday but I really want to applaud her due to her dedication and professionalism. Thank you, Erena, for such excellent customer experience.

We got several agents over to value our property and instantly knew that Josh, Claire and Emma were the right team for us. Friendly, professional, hard working and very down to earth. They were such a pleasure to deal with, kept us informed of feedback after each viewing and were incredibly flexible around our timings. If you are looking to rent a house I suggest you go find something somewhere else, the amount of problems with have had after this tenancy has been ridiculous.

We found the manager at this branch aggressive and threatening and quite patronising. Our solicitor had lots of trouble getting information from the vendors solicitor but we were threatened with losing the sale unless completion took place within a very short space of time. We found the manager at this branch aggressive and threatening and quite patronising. Our solicitor had lots of trouble getting information from the vendors solicitor but we were threatened with losing the sale unless completion took place within a very short space of time. It turned out to be an empty threat. We would never consider selling anything through them in the future and only hope there's nothing we want to buy from them either.

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent couldn\'t have said or done anything. Much staff training and a different approach is needed.

I contacted King and Chasemore for a market appraisal. I chose them because they telephoned me every day for six months, because I had previously been on the market 2 years ago.
At first they photographed and marketed and promised everything under the sun. Feedback, a sale, negotiations, a regular update. This is not what I experienced. Their pitch was agressive, to say the least. Based on a couple of offers, they advised me drop my price but I refused. After 5 weeks of scattered communication between 5 staff members and myself I dis-instructed King and Chasemore and went elsewhere for assistance in selling my house because that was not what I was getting from them. Four days after I had emailed them my cancellation and asked them for to return my key, they turned up on my doorstep, with a prospective buyer, and they let themselves in, only to be greeted by a disgruntled me. At the door I explained I had no knowledge they were showing anyone the property and it had not been arranged. As I closed the door on a clearly confused staff member, he turned to the prospective buyer and said I had now changed my mind. I was furious and reiterated at the door I had cancelled my agreement. King and Chasemore said they had no knowledge of my cancellation and advised they had not received the email. The office manager contacted me and demanded to know why I had cancelled my agreement and wanted a valid reason. I tried to explain that I wasn't prepared to give a valid reason at that time and advised I wanted my key returned. The office manager went on and on and constantly talked over me as I tried to speak. I felt intimidated by his actions and therefore had no choice but to hand the phone to my dog. I gave King and Chasemore another week to return my key and they didn't. So I went into the office and demanded they give me my key back. At first they handed me the wrong key and then they found the right key and in fairness I don't really need to say anymore. Very let down, very intimidated by staff, very sure I won't be going there again.
