Alex was always pleasant, responsive and attentive at all times during the sale process and found the right buyer in the end in a falling market. I'm not sure GP's back office is as slick as it could be, or as some other agents, but the fees were highly competitive and the job got done... Read Full Review

Very competitive fees compared to some other Cobham agents.
Alex was always pleasant, responsive and attentive at all times during the sale process and found the right buyer in the end in a falling market. Rented through Gascoigne a few times and they have been brilliant. Previous landlord decided not to stay with gascoigne due to some silly errors which I was really disappointed with. Rented through Gascoigne a few times and they have been brilliant. Previous landlord decided not to stay with gascoigne due to some silly errors which I was really disappointed with. If the landlord had stayed with gascoigne we might not have lived with no garden for 2 years. Gascoigne and pees have always sorted things very quickly, and even refunded me some fees due to landlord being a nightmare. Will always use them in the future.

Undervalued the rent by �250-300 pcm. Lost tenants paperwork. Tried to delay tenants moving in day before they were due to. No legal agreement issued as names of landlord were incorrect. �500 fees taken that were never discussed or agreed to. Provided 'model tenants who have rented with us for years' who consistently paid late, refused access, caused damage and threatened us with 'squatting' when we tried to gain our property back through the proper channels. We ended up reporting them to the obudsmen.

The beginning of the purchase, as you'll remember, was really quite slow and confusing. Your colleague who we have since learned is no longer with the company, was telling us the certain things were happening but actually, our solicitor was telling us that this wasn't the case, which was unfortunate.
I gather that you then took on the purchase/ sale of number 7 and from that point, we feel everything went relatively smoothly and ended up only taking a further 4 weeks or there about.
I found your manner and the advice you gave was reassuring, professional and honest l. If you hadn't told us that you were on probation l/we certainly wouldn't have known.
I have absolutely no doubt that as you grow in experience you will be very accomplished as an estate agent.

Property trashed. No comeback on them. It's a shame but not my fault attitude. Abysmal and incompetent. Reported to regulatory bodies.
