We were disappointed in the service we received for the following reasons:
The price achieved in offers was 12% lower that the initial guide price we were advised to sell at.
The estate agent who met us and onboarded us did not carry out any viewings.
Agents carrying out viewings were not able to answer simple questions such as "Is there a chain?".
It was hard to get hold of people in the office to advise us of progress with our property, calls were not returned.
After cancellation of our contract we were provided with a list of introductions which did not accurately reflect the confirmed bookings we had received from the agent.

I previously used GP when we were renting our apartment in Basingstoke, and always found their service cost effective and professional, so when we decided to sell our apartment, we once again relied on GP to act as our agents. they were very fast to act with photographs etc, and after only 2 or 3 viewings we secured an offer at our full asking price, and despite the recent volatility with interest rates etc. we have now completed on the sale, and we were extremely happy with the service we received throughout the whole process. I would not hesitate to recommend GP to anyone for complete estate agents services.

Really recommend Gascoigne Pees. They managed the sale of our house and got us on the market within days, and an offer the first weekend. Our offer fell through but they remarketed and helped us get another offer quickly. But where they really were good is during the conveyancing process, chasing the solicitors and the buyer to ensure everything was going smoothly and quickly, with at least daily phone calls towards exchange. If you want to take some of the stress out of buying, I would really recommend using Gascoigne Pees!

The team in Basingstoke is beyond appalling. Rude, always rushing when I call for any help, as a tenant I moved into the house and had no electric, water and heat in the middle of the winter. Had no tv aerial for a year, they won’t even bother with Maitenance work, you have to call daily... Read Full Review

The team in Basingstoke is beyond appalling. Rude, always rushing when I call for any help, as a tenant I moved into the house and had no electric, water and heat in the middle of the winter. When paying the rent, they just took all the money from my bank account instead of the normal amount they were suppose to take and I have not even received an apology for leaving my bank account dry out (Complete daylight robbery) . They won’t even help me getting the rest of my money returned and they say I will have to take it up with my bank . I am absolutely in shock of the inhumane way this team is dealing with me. I will be taking this to citizen advice

I just moved to 347 winterthur way RG217UQ on 2nd Sep 2021 and i had a very bad experience. Before giving keys to me at least agent should have checked condition of the flat. There are no beds in any room as shown in virtual view. Due to this my wife started having back ache. House is not maintained. Showers and taps are leaking. Almirahs and chests are in broken condition. Toilets seats broken. All walls in extremely old condition. Freeze is not clean and smells always, not defrosted by previous tenant. Hob is broken and one of the plate does not work. Kitchen cabinets are in old condition. I came from India to join my company here and hence had a virtual view. I should have been made aware of these facts. As a negotiator, is that not your responsibility.

I would highly recommend the team at Basingstoke, special mention to Jim and James.
My family used this agent to sell my parents home after they died.
We were made to feel assured that the property would sell quickly, whereas another agent had encouraged us to drop the price and sell they did, within days of going on the market with them.
All communication was prompt and efficient, I would happily use their services again.
