Undervalued the rent by �250-300 pcm. Lost tenants paperwork. Tried to delay tenants moving in day before they were due to. Lost our keys, employed locksmith who broke our front door & refused to accept liability, causing damage (ie the door now doesn't shut properly). No legal agreement issued as names of landlord were incorrect. �500 fees taken that were never discussed or agreed to. Provided 'model tenants who have rented with us for years' who consistently paid late, refused access, caused damage and threatened us with 'squatting' when we tried to gain our property back through the proper channels. We ended up reporting them to the obudsmen.

In regards to the review of your previous tenants, I know the family personally and they did not do such a thing. May have been a few days late on the odd occasion. They modernised your house as it was in such a state and dirty when they moved in. They didn't refuse to leave they asked if they could leave early and you refused. They left the property better than they found it! They lived with many problems during there tenancy and you constantly had excuses not to fix the problems. Main one being you couldn't afford to, which they accepted. They are so disappointed that gascoigne wasn't involved with the full tenancy as so many things could have been avoided. You didn't want to pay for gascoigne services which was a big disappointment to your previous tenant.

With regards to your comments, I know personally the people that rented your property and that wasn't the situation. Gascoigne and pees did not under value your property, if anything your tenants paid more than they should have. You rented your property under the impression everything would be fine. Your tenants had no use of the garden as the continuous flooding which you never ever fixed and the problem had been there over ten years. That's the reason you left gascoigne and pees as soon as your tenants were in the property as you knew it would have to be fixed if renting through an agent. The whole boiler system was up the wall. Gascoigne and pees treated your tenants very fairly even issuing a refund on fees. And with regards to the damaged property and no rent that is disgusting of you to lie like this. The tenants re decorated your property including your rotted conservatory which you was more than happy with. There was 2 things damaged at the property when they left and that was a toilet seat and a letter box which straight away the tenant offered to pay for. So if anything your tennants and gascoigne and pees are perfect and your just greedy landlords who are adults and should really have better things to do than lie on the internet.

Alex was always pleasant, responsive and attentive at all times during the sale process and found the right buyer in the end in a falling market. Rented through Gascoigne a few times and they have been brilliant. Previous landlord decided not to stay with gascoigne due to some silly errors which I was really disappointed with. Nightmare, allowed tenant to move furniture in before commencement of lease. Had not taken a deposit from tenant.
