Gentleman showing prospective purchasers around was obviously unaware of what a Met Chalet was as tried telling my mother there was another one for sale locally until he showed her the same and she corrected him.
We were completely misled from the beginning and NEVER use an Estate Agents that have a so called Progression Team - they truly don't know what they are talking about. Every day we were fed story after story with management team and progression team totally contradicting each other and blaming each other - which resulted in a house bound 83 year old and physically disabled 49 year old being left without a sofa, washing machine, cooker, dining room table, chairs, bed, stool, fridge, freezer, dishwasher for almost two weeks.
After many years in the legal sector and my father having been a District Valuer we understand there can be many problems involved in Conveyancing but when you are told blatant lies it becomes a bit much. Especially when you are told by the so-called Director that they will call you Thursday (no call received) so sent an email to which the reply came back I tried to call you Wednesday - strange as no message left nor call logged? If this had been the case wouldn't you have tried again or at least sent an email saying you had tried to make contact? Currently deciding whether to take this matter further after their fees of £6,250.00 plus VAT were totally unjustified.

Having previously successfully bought and sold through GG in Pinner we were keen to use them again to sell our house. We had already had an offer accepted on a property so were desperate to get under offer ourselves. With 2 weeks to christmas Liam managed to get 18 viewings on an open day and from those an offer very close to asking price which we accepted. GG have such a good reach and database of clients for the area that to go with anyone else is pointless. Excellent communication and knowledge of buyers and their circumstances built up through years of experience is invaluable and Liam had it all. He was also an excellent negotiator and kept our offer price secure. We were lucky to have him as our agent and Gibbs are lucky to have him on their team.

Nikki was always very approachable and she worked tirelessly to make sure all issues with the house were dealt with in a timely manner. It is clear to me that she has worked hard to build a strong relationship with the landlord (who seemed to be very understanding); which is why all issues were dealt with quickly.

It is clear to me that she has worked hard to build a strong relationship with the landlord (who seemed to be very understanding); which is why all issues were dealt with quickly.
The moving-out process went by very smoothly, and Nikki would continuously make contact with us to make sure everything was ok. She even agreed to meet us at the property to remove certain items after we had moved out so that we wouldn't get charged for leaving them there. This to me speaks volumes about how much of an asset Nikki is to Gibbs Gillespie, and just how much she works to do what's best for her clients!
I highly recommend any student to go through Gibbs Gillespie, and especially to have the privilege of dealing with Nikki! Dealing with her means that you will always have the satisfaction of knowing that she will work extremely hard to deal with any issues you may have, and that the communication between you and her will always be excellent!

Nicola Martin & Andrew Pearce (specifically Nicola). have been dealing with an issue at my property in Northwood, where my ground floor property has had visible signs of Subsidence to the Superstructure. They have been dealing with the Block Management Agents and an independent surveyor for the past 1 year. Nicola really took her initiative to another level today, actually she went beyond my expectations, and challenged the independent surveyor with regards to the buildings insurance excess. It was stated in recent correspondence from the Surveyor that the excess was expected to be paid by myself, to which Nicola made a number of calls and followed up with some e-mails to confirm that this was not the case and that the block management company would have to pay this. This was agreed by the block management company today, and brought a strange and personally difficult situation to a close. The required works may now proceed at my property sometime in January 2011. All this would not have happened if it wasn't for Nicola, in the main, and Andrew.
