Unfortunately Dexters let down their profession with typical sales tactics which put us off putting in an offer, only to then find the property still up and vacant 2 months later. They gave us incorrect information about important aspects of what was in the property which caused us to waste money. They forgot to arrange cleaners until the day we moved in, who rushed the job and left it with dirt, grime, lime scale and lots of hair. They told us they are acceptable omissions. Refused to work to a solution and blamed us when we raised our worries.
Best avoided if you are looking for a decent agent.

In a building managed by R&R, due to major issue, a temporary generator was placed to supply heating in front of my flat. It was making noise and creating fumes so I couldn't sleep, and I am pregnant. I got in touch with one of the employees Christopher to explain my problem. He assured me that the company cares about the tenants and promised a financial compensation for my trouble. Afterwards I tried contacting him to know when this generator will be removed nearly every day for the past months, he was not replying to my emails and creating different scenarios regarding the generator when I managed to get him on the phone- clearly R&R never had the intention to provide the promised compensation for the period of the temporary generator's installation (what was supposed to be 2 weeks, and turned out to be three months). He was even hiding just to avoid my calls, which is pathetic and vile especially since this was causing a problem for a pregnant lady. He kept abusing my patience while pretending to have sent me emails with updates regarding my situation and making me believe that my problem will be handled respectfully. I even remember how he specifically mentioned that the Board has sufficient funds to compensate me for no mater how long the generator is placed ... In the end, after nearly three months of misery, I had to evict the building, but Christopher wasn't bothered by that at all. This is an act of discrimination and erratic behaviour that created health issues for my baby and myself, so I will not remain silent and will contact UK authorities and the public because people deserve to know.

The most appalling company I've ever encountered - avoid at all costs! Rendall & Rittner charge an extortionate management fee and to me as a resident have offered no value whatsoever. They don't respond to phone calls or emails or make contact when they say they will and take no responsibility for seeing projects through. A have had water damage affecting my property for years with no action or resolution on their part - only corporate apathy with absolutletly no knowledge of their own projects or any semblance of professional conduct. They have wasted hours of my time and have left me feeling very frustrated and stressed that I'm not able to fix this issue despite contributing to their hefty fee.

The Rendall & Rittner complaints policy is a self-serving joke and they have even censored notes from residents' meetings (2 a year) when the comments were unfavourable to Rendall & Rittner or Berkeley Homes. That is dishonest. Really I thought we could do no worse than Peverel but Rendall & Rittner ARE worse. 7% rise in service charges this year when inflation is below 2%! My experience of Rendall and Rittner ( rendallandrittner.co.uk ) the Management company for One Osnaburgh st, London, NW1 3DE A number of leaseholders came forward to report a concierge had been using keys to access their apartments without their permission. The same concierge was also suspected of intercepting and opening parcels to check for valuables as partially opened packages were reported during his shifts. There were also a large number of other allegations against him, including violent criminal offenses
After a brief investigation, the staff member in question was suspended, he instructed a solicitor to threaten Rendell and Ritner with litigation and they made a decision to keep him as they were worried that because they didn't have any evidence they would lose at an employment tribunal. They also became aware that the staff member had previously been sacked for same reasons and successfully sued his previous employer. It looks like this is his business model is to work as a concierge steal from his residents, get sacked and then attempt to sue for unfair dismissal. In contrast, the other two concierges that work in this building are extremely professional.
Unfortunately, because of Rendell and Rittners fear of legal proceedings the residents have to continue living with a career criminal who is there to steal from them. Its ridiculous that Rendell and Rittner value that their HR policies & fear of fairly trivial legal proceedings over the safety & security of their leaseholders. My reason for writing this is because we have been left with no other options, after exhausting every other avenue our only options are to complain publicly, complain to the freeholder, write to every leaseholder (on the land registry) and begin the time-consuming process of replacing Rendall & Ritner.
