2 months and still no returned Deposit. There is money to come out of this to the Landlord which I am expecting for the final months rent and cleaning but the communications from them has been nothing short of non-existent. There is money to come out of this to the Landlord which I am expecting for the final months rent and cleaning but the communications from them has been nothing short of non-existent.
As long as they have their money they show little interest once you cease a tenancy.
For absolute transparency this was their response:
"As Kings do not hold your Deposit, your Landlord will be contacting you directly with these costs.
This is generally done upon processing the return of your Deposit, however, it appears we are still currently pending your close of utility accounts, to evidence any accounts registered in your name at 18 Christine Ingram Gardens are now closed, and paid up to date.
Your Landlord requires these to be sent to us, so we may forward them on, before processing any Deposit return."
I left the property on the 18/12/2019 and the fact the landlord requires proof I have paid my utilities bills before they release my money is scandalous because the onus for the debt is on me regardless!!
Pay me back my money.

I must admit we had heard mixed reviews initially of Kings from other fellow tenants and decided to make our own minds up when the property offered all that we needed at that time.
Our expectations were quickly dashed and surpassed and having dealt with Sam for the past 2 and a half years, we have consistently been delighted by the service she's offered and professionalism demonstrated. An asset and a definite 'keeper'

I have. been a client of King For nearly 7 years. In all that time I have always found the staff to be efficient, prompt, curtious and friendly. Sam Harris is the agent I have dealt with the longest and she is brilliant. If a problem arises she is on to it immediately. I am overseas a lot but this. Is no problem when dealing with kings.I would highly recommend Kings to any prospective landlord. Thank you Kings!

Kings have been responsive to all of my demands for all of that time which has included sourcing maintenance contractors on the occasions when I have not had my own contacts.

I've been a customer of Kings for several years, having moved from another local agent. They have found new tenants quickly with only short gaps in between, , and 2 of the tenants have stayed for several years, which is what I want as I now live abroad and prefer it to be occupied long term. Any tenant issues have been dealt with quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful. Basically, it's been pretty easy, exactly what I want, more so than my previous agents.
