I am extremely disappointed in Kings Lettings finding the most untrustworthy tenant. Before Covid started the tenant was not paying rent on time. I am extremely disappointed in Kings Lettings finding the most untrustworthy tenant.
Before Covid started the tenant was not paying rent on time. Then during Covid he used that as an excuse to not pay rent.
Now he has let Kings know that he is leaving the property in 3 days without providing a written months notice and still being £1500 in rental arrears.

Once you are on their books, the staff are always miserable and very unhelpful. Each time I send an email I start again from scratch and try and be cheerful and positive. Starting my email with things like "Hope you are well or had a nice holiday etc" and this is never acknowledged. The issue is just forwarded on to my landlord, which I am informed about, but usually with some negative comment; "You'll still have to pay for this." Never try and come to a compromise or mutual agreement. Just money grabbers and no help at all. Have been looking at renting elsewhere and have avoided even viewing properties solely on the fact they are managed by Kings. Once I am out of this place I never want to have to deal with them again.

Tenants Beware!!!
Well where to I begin! ... My partner and I saw a flat on the Kings Lettings website that was advertised as 'furnished'. As we were flexible to either a furnished or unfurnished property we decided to view. The agent that we met (15 minutes late no apologies), told us that the landlord had recently bought the property and that the furniture had be left by the previous owners. As we looked around, all the property was just what we were looking for, the 'furniture' consisted of: one broken bed frame (in a two bed property), a broken chest of drawers, a stained coffee table and 2 two seater sofa. Feeling that the term furnished was perhaps a little overzealous, we enquires whether the landlord would consider letting the property as unfurnished and removed the broken furniture. The agent called the regional manager to check this told us that she didn't see a problem. We were also advised that the landlord was putting down new laminated flooring. We this, we decided to put down the £250 standard holding deposit. The property was advertised as 'available now' and the agent said that the landlord would like to move as quickly as possible, asking us to move in on the 8th April 2016. We advertised that we would give our current landlord his 2 weeks notice and move in on the 11th April 2016.
After not hearing much for a few days, my partner called to enquire how the flooring was coming along and to check that the furniture was being removed. The regional manager who him spoke to was extremely defensive, telling him that the property was advertised as furnished and if we didn't want furniture, why did we view a furnished property. Needless to say, he came away from the conversation extremely upset.
I decided to send an email explaining that my partner had left the conversation feeling rather upset and felt she was being extremely defensive regarding the furniture (something she has previously said was not an issue). Her response was merely that she was not defensive and if my partner thought that, then that was his issue. Needless the say, this made me very angry indeed. I wrote a formal complaint letter about the service we'd received and asked that we dealt with someone else moving forward.
We signed the contract, played the initial monies (deposit/rent) and gave notice to our current landlord. However 6 days before we were due to move in, we received a telephone call explaining that the landlord was having trouble with the floors and therefore we couldn't move in until the beginning of May! I explained that we had always giving notice at our current property and were unable to stay longer (new tenant were moving in). I was told that, as the landlord had not signed his copy of the contract yet, it was unfortunate, but not there problem. I explained that we would therefore be homeless in 6 days and asked if there had anything else we could move into? They replied saying that it was not their problem and asked if we would still like to go ahead with the property at a later date. I'm sure you can imagine my response!
This letting agent should be avoided at all costs!! It provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced and they only seem interested in the landlords wishes and well being!
I cannot imagine what would have happened if we'd have had a young family too... Always judging by Kings Lettings responses... 'It wouldn't be their problem'!
Avoid!!

This property has been let through King's for the best part of 25 years since I acquired it. Through ups and downs in the state of the Development they have been a tower of strength. Communication is excellent and the staff are very polite and knowledgeable. The office appears to work very well as a team which, I believe, to be important. As a landlord with a number of properties in the UK, I have no hesitation in recommending the Windsor branch of Kings.

I am a first time buyer and was therefore completely new to the buy to let world. The agents could not have been more helpful. The whole office is always welcoming and has a friendly atmosphere, and since I live nearby it was often easier to pop in than e-mail or telephone. I was always seen straightaway and it was clear that they valued my custom from their positive manner. They relayed useful feedback on the property from potential clients and were efficient in everything they did, including obtaining a tenant and contract exchange.

They always try to minimise gaps, they keep us informed and deal with any issues promptly. I have a very good relationship with Kings, everyone at the Windsor branch is excellent. It is a pity that I can only single out 2 staff members in this review. We would never go anywhere else. I can only recommend them.
