Do not recommend at all. Ruth ignored all calls from me after telling me should would call to arrange a viewing. Was informed by another member the property had gone. After being ignored for a week I was extremely upset

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Lisa Armstrong for the very professional and exceptional service I have ever received from an estate agent. I could not thank her enough. When the sale of my property that I was buying through another agent fell through she was like a fairy waving a magic wand and putting things right. I recently bought a property through Pattinson and the agent whom I dealt with was Luke Tempest. Cowboys. Lied about landlord possessions being removed from the property prior to occupation. Said they'd obtain a key for a locked cupboard then denied this. Very poor repair service. Took an age chasing refund of deposit when we moved out, and then tried it on by trying to charge for... Read Full Review

Not lied prior to property occupation and throughout tenancy.

Cowboys. Lied about landlord possessions being removed from the property prior to occupation. Said they'd obtain a key for a locked cupboard then denied this. Very poor repair service.
Took an age chasing refund of deposit when we moved out, and then tried it on by trying to charge for ridiculous things from new carpets to a plumbing leak stain caused by one of their repairs!
6 weeks after arbitration (very successful on my behalf), they still chased me for outstanding money!
Don't have a clue what they're doing, very unprofessional and cannot be trusted. AVOID.

Viewed one property with pattinsons. Told them I would phone if interested in taking it to rent. Received phonecalls from two different staff leaving 5 voicemails each one repeating what they said. Would think they would have the common sense to take a hint I was clearly not interested. After... Read Full Review
What agent could do to change your mind?
Apologise for the constant phonecalls. Improve communication so only one member of staff phones. Improve customer service skills! Even better staff training or new staff!!

Viewed one property with pattinsons. Told them I would phone if interested in taking it to rent. Received phonecalls from two different staff leaving 5 voicemails each one repeating what they said. After eventually calling them back inbetween my busy lifestyle they were very rude, bad customer service skills and hung up on me when asked to delete my number from their system. Would not recommend them to anyone. If they pester you constantly before accepting a property would hate to think how they treat existing tenants!! Disgraceful!!

I am based in the North East of England and just recently got married and have been looking for a property to rent.
Now I am not sure if anyone has driven through the Durham/Newcastle areas and looked at some of the signs on houses up for sale. Take a good look and Pattinson's Limited is pretty much everywhere.
After narrowing down the areas we wanted to live in taking into account work and the fact my wife was looking at studying in Durham University, Pattinson's was pretty much an excellent choice of estate agent for our requirements.
We received a warm welcome in the local branch and was presented with a wide range of properties currently available in the areas we had selected. Viewing where arranged for that afternoon as well as the following day and the information provided by the staff was second to none. Particularly seeing as the people we where dealing with knew the area and most of the properties listed. And we seemed to get a honest unbiased opinion about the areas and particularly the properties themselves.
The staff marked out properties which they felt where appropriate for us based on some general background information.
It took us two days to find a property we really liked through Pattinsons which was excellent considering we had been through three estate agents already and came up with nothing.
Our application and all other finer details where completed in the space of 2 weeks and both parties are very happy.
I would certainly recommend Pattinson's for anyone looking for a property.
I cannot speak for the people looking to buy a property rather than rent but if the standard of service is as good as we where offered then they are certainly one to speak to.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
