As you can tell from numerous complaints..You only deal with Fineholm at your own risk as they don't care about clients and the poor service you. Just spoke to their manager about their poor rating & about my experience with them and she is totally fine with that. *They ask u to keep huge deposits and keep u waiting for days if not weeks & can come back to you at any time to tell u the property is not available. It took them 2 days to show the property to my spouse and after calling to tell her it's available to rent, they claim it will take more than a week to check the inventory in a 1 bedroom flat and days later they claim the landlord says he's not renting anymore. *It's evident in our interaction their tenants and customers come last and the manager herself she doesn't care about the poor service and their ratings. Deal with them at your own risk!

21 Sept 2017Hi Sam, I was really shocked to see your review and must be candid in my reply as the majority of your comments are untrue. Firstly, you have not experienced weeks waiting time, your viewing was on 12/9/17, you expressed interest, we contacted our landlord and came back to you on 14/9/17 to be told that you'd found another property, you then came back to us on 19/9/17 asking to go ahead and were informed on 20/9/17 that the landlord didn't wish to accept the tenancy as you were not prepared to provide a financial/income reference. I appreciate you offered to pay 6 months in advance but as explained the landlord was concerned as to what would happen after the initial term without an income reference. You didn't pay a holding deposit, you told us you sent £100 to our bank but we never received it. Also, when you spoke with me in the office I did not say that I was okay or happy with the negative reviews, you asked if I was aware of them and I said yes, as with the majority of Agents we have both positive and negative reviews and that I didn't think you'd received negative customer service when you'd been in our office earlier and reiterated why the landlord had refused your proposal. i would also remind you that when you were in our office you told us you'd had bad experiences with other agencies, perhaps your frustration is more with them than Fineholm. I would also comment on your aggressive attitude in the office which resulted in our Director having to intervene and your false accusations of racism which we would refute strongly.

22 Sept 2017It's very unfortunate you'd get on here and lie just as you did this morning claiming you only received my funds this morning when indeed you received the funds on wednesday. I see you are only concerned now because of the review yet you failed to respond to my last message. If you claim the landlord refuse to rent to me based on the reference or financial reference then why didn't you respond when I told you I have that readily available? You were the same people who claimed it wasn't necessary because it's my first time in the U.K and I'm paying all 6 months upfront. Why did you also send me your bank details to pay the holding fee if you claim the landlord was not prepared to rent? When I came to your office you asked me to pay £150 more and wait for about a week for you to check your inventory which is usually the norm to find excuses to rent it out to another person, this is evidenced in your numerous negative reviews. I asked what happens if after a week you tell me it's been rented out but your answer was not satisfactory. Your response doesn't even add up because it's so obvious you are telling lies. Accusing me of being aggressive because I'm a well built black guy says it all, just the type of false stereotype perpetuated by racists like you. How did you director intervene? And how was I aggressive? Maybe you should try and back your accusations up because your poor reviews on google says it all.

Moved in to a temporary repair in the ceiling, moved out to repair having fallen off and water freely entering every rainfall. Lights that never worked and were never attended to. Only when I announced I was leaving was there any response, which involved a visit by the same agent that photographed the faults before I moved in. Nothing happened.
Unless desperate for a particular property that only Fineholm manage, avoid like the plague.

We have had many issues in our flat over the years and is normally been a nightmare to sort out. Linda is extremely efficient, understanding and I wish she had dealt with all our issues in the past. Recently our hot water and heating was closed off due to issues with the boiler. This resulted in an 8 day period were we were left without heating and hot water. Having had issues with Fineholm at the beginning of our tenancy I was especially anxious to see how the situation would be handled.
Thankfully Linda couldn't of been better. She was prompt, organised, understanding and sympathetic to the situation. Although it was an 8 day wait she communicated every day, even on her days off (and the weekend) so that we were always dealing with the same person. Every phone call was followed up with a concise email of updates we'd discussed.
Needless to say losing access to hot water and heating during the snowiest days of the year was not pleasant, however I feel extremely fortunate we had Linda on our side, her professionalism has restored my faith in this letting agency.

Please read through all the comments before you decide. I was stupid enough to think I won't let it happen but even I became a victim of it despite knowing the reviews. I was desperate at the time but only now realising it wasn't worth it at all. Even if you do rent the property, keep an evidence of everything from day one. Take your own pictures, save all their inspection pictures, I didn't and now they aren't providing me any pictures either so I can use them as evidence. Keep a record of all their phone conversations that you make, any maintenance issues. Keep your own evidences because they won't give you anything!

Keep a record of all their phone conversations that you make, any maintenance issues. Keep your own evidences because they won't give you anything!
A month and a half after moving out of the property we rented from Fineholm lettings, we are still in dispute for the charges they are proposing to us. The final moving out report was 80% all wrong, reported missing items that were present in the property in storage cupboards or top of the shelves, reported damages that were there when we moved in and should be visible for them to see in the pictures taken at inspection after we moved in. They did not go through the inventory I handed in with my comments on it, in fact I'm having to go through the whole inventory to send them evidence of their false findings. Out of £495 of our deposit amount, we are being charged £492 for things that are not not even done or worth it.
The so called deep cleaning pictures carried out for £120 still show dirt in the bathroom and windows and around the property. The garden was done for £140 but upon showing pictures that my husband took after they charged us, the grass is still overgrown the weed us still there and garden us still as much of state as it was when we moved in. The inventory clearly stats the garden was already overgrown and overgrown weed before moved in but they are expecting us to send 100s on getting ir fixed.
Danages reported were already mentioned in the inventory, yet they are charging us for those damages. Since the whole last month u have had to send them countless lengthy emails and pictures of evidences trying to show their false findings. And they are still charging us £30 for the findings and organising fee, what a joke when I had to email through all the pictures of the inventory as well as pictures of the property when it's back on the market again with no such thing as cleaning or fixed garden. All that's been done us just white paint through the property to make it look clean.
No matter how ideal the property seem to you that fineholm has advertised, DO NOT go for it because they will cause you extreme stress and mental exhaustion for claiming your deposit back. Currently putting this matter in dispute with safe deposit as well as seeking legal help because I would rather pay a solicitor than pay the landlord or fineholm for their false findings and allegations. I have the full detailed inventory, they couldn't provide me with the inventory I handed in with my signatures on it so I'm having to send pictures from my copy of the inventory. Countless emails, hours spent on checking through everything on my own which shouldn't have been my job to do!

Tenants were found within a week of the property being advertised and moved in soon after. This is my second time using Fineholm and I definitely can recommend them.
