I bought through leaders and had to deal with Turner... from the outset, he was awful... attitude stank, lazy, didn't do anything unless I shouted at him... when I did shout at him he invited me to pull out of my purchase... every single interaction was just horrendous... I even complained to his manager Debbie as he had moaned about me to a third party as well as an appalling attitude. She assured me that I would no longer have to deal with him, that was not the case, he still replied to my emails... it just got to the point where we all gave up and the estate agent that I was selling through took over the sales progression... I put the offer in in October 2016, the last time I heard from leaders was December... its now march and I haven't heard a peep from them not even now I have exchanged... I cannot believe how awful these people are and how reluctant anyone was to take ownership and manage expectations... I dealt with the vendor directly and bacon and co who were the agents I had employed to sell my property.., I cannot advise anyone enough to steer well clear from these guys... they are awful...

I have to admit out of sheer frustration I did shout at one of the agents, who turned out to be the manager, on two occasions, something I very rarely do. I wanted some details provided and I was a cash customer, I was told it's not like buying a car with an MOT! He talked back over me and started to shout too, I was told I had a problem and I needed to seek help. The service charge was not correct, the ground rent was not correct and there were in fact 2 service charges. A lot of the information we asked for could have been obtained from their rental section, but nobody ever bothered to obtain it. We never had keys to the flat, we were supposed to work off the entry box pad, but were never given the number and I had to ask for this when we realized the keys we were given were did not work and I only got keys as my managing agent arranged with the tenant to get some cut . They did not even bother to contact us after we had closed. I sold real estate some forty years ago and I worked hard for my clients and would never dream of treating them the way that we have been treated. The whole process took 5 months and for the most part I did all the work!

Viewings were well-organised.
Grace Jenkins kept me up to date by e-mail, and was generally very helpful with the buyers.

I have to say that the service I have received from Leaders Littlehampton throughout the whole process of buying my new home has been absolutely faultless. What I think stood out most though was their friendliness and positive-ness throughout what was at times a quite stressful journey. The sale was achieved smoothly and all through the process Turner was sensitive to the nature of the sale and conducted himself in a friendly and professional way and his market knowledge was first class. I followed his advice and we achieved the desired sale.
