Where to start...
I was there for a year and in that time we were without a working toilet for 4 days (you can imagine the situation) whilst they were “thinking of the best financial solution”, the entire kitchen cupboards fell in my elderly father (no apology whatsoever), we had a fly infestation for over a week as there were rare under the floorboards. The lack of empathy for the tenant is very apparent.
All of these problems come after we had moved in and it had been “professionally cleaned”. We had taken photos of how disgusting the property was and the agency acknowledged this as it really was not good enough. Upon leaving the property we didn't want anyone else to suffer like we had so we took the day off work to give it a proper deep clean. Upon the final inspection the cowboy agents couldn't pick any faults to suck any more money off of me, so they went for dirt on the outside windows - I quickly reminded them that access to the back window was behind a locked gate and the front one was over 10 ft high, therefore inaccessible and I challenged the deposit deduction. I then won this and got the deposit back (I had the last laugh).
I would urge anyone to think about going with another agent, no matter how cheap the place is or how initially nice it seems.
I will never make this mistake again. Undoubtedly the worst agents in Glasgow.
