I met with Ellen Hamilton as I am a Landlord with little experience of the new legislation regarding Private letting.
I was made very welcome at the Fineholm Office in Glasgow and was given constructive, informative guidance on the recent Scottish legislation. Ellen looked at the Inventory and other correspondence that I presently use. She was a good listener, sympathetic to the issues that I raised and gave me useful information to support me to implement present legislation. I came away much more confident and better informed. I did not feel under any pressure to use the services of this Company and there was no charge for Ellen's time or professional service.

Comment on agent fees
I was given an idea of cost if I decided to use the services of Fineholm but was not charged for the time that Ellen spent with me. I am of the opinion that the charges for various services eg preparing inventories are reasonable considering the time that would be required to complete this task. I also saw an example of the type of inventory is prepared and feel that it is good value for money. I got the feeling that Ellen is keen to give an excellent service rather than securing a high revenue generating service.
