Pattisons in Cramlington were the vendors Estate Agents when we bought a flat. We received an email from the Morpeth Branch after the acceptance offer, which I still have, saying that all future communication should be with them, not sure why! When our flat survey showed damp we contacted the Morpeth Branch and asked them to inform the vendor - twice - I still have the emails - they didn't, and we ended up knocking on the front door of the vendor to inform her. We then dealt with the vendor all the way with the damp issue. I then got a call from Cramlington to say that we should not have dealt with Morpeth and to forward all the emails I sent to Morpeth. I duly did this and received not one word of apology or even an acknowledgement that I had sent them.
The day of completion arrived and we received a call to say that the keys were at Cramlington. What a farce, talk about bad customer service and indifferent staff!! We couldn't get in the door to start with then the girl didn't know which were the keys. She tried to phone someone who was on their lunch several times without success, then she tried through her PC. In the end she picked some keys up and told me that these must be them!! Maybe no-one in Pattison has ever heard of labelling keys or leaving a note! The other issue I have is that at no point was I asked who I was, I could have been anyone walking in and asking for keys.
If I were the vendor I would definitely be questioning my service and costs!!

When I called to inform yourself and your son that the keys were able to be released, at no point did you make us aware, that picking the keys up from the Cramlington office was a problem. If we knew this was the case, we could've arranged pick up elsewhere.
When you came to collect the keys, Gemma called me and to confirm before releasing them as she was not in the office when the keys were handed in. I clarified this and the keys were handed over. I apologise for the inconvenience, however, this is sometimes unavoidable when there are four members of staff in and out of the office on appointments. We are always contactable via mobile phones for this reason and we would never label keys for security reasons.
