We first met Darren to valuate our property in Victoria Road. Gibbs Gillespie wasn't the only Estate Agents we had round on that day but our first impressions of Darren meant we were always going to choose Gibbs. Both my partner and I knew nothing of the histories of any Estate Agents and were purely going to go on what we thought of the agents turning up that day. Darren was keen to know about us as people, which we liked, so he could learn what it was we were after which enabled for an ease in a relationship right from the beginning. Moving through to the sale of our property, the 'one day sale' which we called it went smoothly and Darren kept us informed of prospective buyers, so we knew what was the latest update was. This was very de-stressing for us due to the original thoughts as everyone has, hopefully, of not selling their property. Moving forward to buying our new house, Darren new what we were like as people and understood our needs due to a young family, 2 very active boys, and put forward properties for us to see which were perfect for us in every way. This was our hardest decision in picking which one was the 'best of the best'. We discussed our options with Darren once we had picked 'the one' and put in our bids applicably. Again very quick responses were given whether good or bad to us which again meant we new where we were making our lives so much easier and not sitting by the phone constantly worrying. So all in all we could not have asked for any more from Darren and if anyone is wanting to use Gibbs Gillespie then I would highly recommend you ask for Darren.

I reserved a property with through this agent towards the end of 2019 and they completely messed up the whole buying process.
First, they gave us a plot that was completely different from the one we reserved in person and asked us to ignore it, saying it was a mistake. We had to ask their solicitors to amend the plan.
Not long after, covid19 happened and we asked for a reduction on the price (How can someone in their right mind pay the same price before COVID?) Only to finally being told that the developer will not reduce the price and was promised a refund of our reservation fee.
Eventually, lacking confidence in the deal, we pulled out from the deal.
We wasted so much time, energy & money conducting searches, and paying our conveyancer.
Until today, we are still awaiting the return of my £500 reservation fee as promised by Alex. It's been almost 2 months now.
We're still waiting, Alex.....

Very good agency! My husband and I moved in to flat in Ruislip Manor about 4 months ago. Every little thing we need from agency is immediately sorted out. Oliver was extremely calm and professional,whilst we found Conor to always be courteous and helpful. It is also worth noting that Olivers advice in selecting a good reliable buyer was invaluable.
Once we were under offer and solicitors became involved however things became a bit disjointed and there were periods of no communication. We appreciate that we were particularly nervous clients but perhaps an improvement could be a regular scheduled update from Gibbs as the process progresses (just as reassurance). A crib sheet of what to expect throughout the process would also be very helpful.
We would like to thank the team for all their efforts and wish them every success in the future

Despite experiencing some frustrations during the sale of our property the end result made the 7 months timeline worthwhile. There was a changeover of staff in the office part way through our conveyancing which left us chasing around for updates but I have to say Rosie was an absolute star and soon got things back on track. She was calm, reassuring and efficient. Conor was usually our first point of contact with the office and was always friendly, polite and professional. Paul and Oliver the manager were also extremely helpful during the process and I would not hesitate to recommend Gibbs Gillespie to others.
