No respect from the agency at all.
My husband and I were going to view a property at 12pm this morning in Benton NE3. Unlucky the metro got delayed plus we traveled quite a long distance, so it was exactly 12pm when we arrived the area but we had to walk 10 minutes to the property. I called the agency straight away apologizing for our being late. What shocked me was the girl who picked up the phone was saying that they could not wait for 10 minutes because the next viewing was 12.15pm. And she also said we should take a taxi there but not metro.
First, I viewed property with so many agency and I never had someone telling me that we should take taxi instead of metro to the property. Even the taxi could meet traffic and people could still be in late. If I had to spend £15 for taxi per viewing then we gonna get bankrupt before we could even pay for the property?!! I know being late is not good, but we are human and things happen. Plus I did call them immediately to ask for understanding, as a customer. We sometimes wait for some agents from other agencies too when they were in late and we never just walked away and tell them * off. (sorry for that, it was how I felt this morning from Pattinson's agent)
A company should always allow their customers some incidents, as long as they try to communicate and try to ask for understanding. Also, how can they put two viewings with only 15 minutes in between??? Even if we did make it, we could possibly only stay for 10 minutes in the property without having time to ask questions because the agent was gonna tell us to leave for the next viewing? It's really unacceptable. Buying property is a big decision, and we are spending lots of money on it. We want to be respected and be understood.
Horrible experience. My husband and I had to travel all the way back with a bad mood. Why do I ever want to recommend my friends or people online to use this agency?? Not a chance.
What agent could do to change your mind?
No.
If they could show their customer basic respect and understanding. But definitely no more for me.
