Was an easy process working with them and always quick communication.
Even when we did not receive the first property because of an indecisive landlord, we stayed in contact with agent Jonny who quickly found us a new property that suits in a similar area. He did not just abandon us and get on with his other prospective property’s.
This flat ended up being much better.
Erika has also been extremely quick and clear with communication and answering our questions in a timely manner. As well as being patient with us whilst we sort documentation which is much appreciated.

My agent was Johnny who was really, really helpful. The communication was easy and super fast. I asked a lot of questions during my process & Johnny & Erika always responded me promptly & kindly. Erika, who helped me to do the administration also was professional & kind.
I was worried at first because the website was not user friendly in my opinion, but my experience with Johnny & Erika from Black Kats was fantastic.
I will definitely call them for my next move!

We have had a very positive experience liaising with Black Katz as prospective tenants to our current place. Erika was our move-in manager and she made the move-in process very easy for us. I went ahead and bought everything necessary for my moving and Iv waited for over a month now. I have wasted so much of time calling the West Hampstead branch asking for updates on when we can move. Every day they would say “we are sorry, but we have no update on the property yet”. I am a mother of one and my family is still suffering to date staying at different airbnb. I hoped they would call us with a moving date week after week. I am utterly disgusted on how they deceived me, took my money and promised a false moving date! I would NEVER recommend this agency to anyone. I have requested a full refund today!! Who takes client money and sign contracts without having the property ready for renting!?

Since we are abroad it was not always easy to communicate and the landlord was taking his time but in the end we managed and we are very happy with the service provided.

The practice was handled in the less professional manner everseen in London. The practice was handled in the less professional manner everseen in London.
The agent did not even know the legislation (what documents may be provided for a right to rent check), was never available nor reachable the days prior to entering the house, and ultimately left me homeless for the weekend because of the a money transfer not been cleared again (despite it being just the deposit).
Fun fact: the transfer was urgent and cleared before the entering date (as the contract required), but no one could check the finances because hey, too late, it's friday!
So I get told I would enter next week (while paying for the weekend, of course).
The house was almost unfurnished (and completely different than what I saw or the pictures), the entering handle is broken and the repairs asked as a condition to enter were not made.
To recap:
- Left homeless for a weekend (in which I was paying the house), because nobody could check the money transfer for the final deposit
- Promised unfurnished "as seen", came almost empty
- Director of the agency disappearing for days and then telling me the day before the entry "Sorry, you will enter next week"
- Fixings and repairs not done as required
- I have received a broken key (I dont even know what that opens)
- The administrator specifically was completely lacking respect and transparency, leaving a person out in the streets from a paid house just because she couldn't bother to check the finances
- Despite 3 days have passed since the entrance days, I still havent received the receipts for my payments
