I came across BlackKatz years ago when I was desperately searching for a place to stay after a bad experience with one of London's bigger agents. The staff at the London Bridge branch were lovely then, as they were this time around. Tim took the time to understand what I was looking for and was great company during viewings. The rest of the process went smoothly thanks to the branch manager Alex and Michelle. Their fees are lower than some of the better-known agencies, but their service is the best in London.

Recently my housemate and I were looking for new property to rent in South London - we had strict location requirements and set budget - setting a challenge for our Estate Agents in the competitive London rental market!
Tim at Black Katz found the perfect property for us! He showed me around the property and even helped assure all of my concerns - including looking under radiators and around window frames to ensure that there were no signs of dreaded London damp/mould damage! Tim continued to go above and beyond by answering questions on the property at irregular hours as we made our minds up.
Once we decided we had our heart set on the property Emma dealt with majority of the paper work, financial transactions and documentation signing. She was very clear in helping us understand what was required of us and answered all the questions we had along the way in a timely manner.
Overall, I would highly recommend Black Katz to other potential tenants - all members of staff I spoke to were kind, professional and dedicated. The end to end process of finding the property, securing it and finally moving in was smooth and as stress free as moving can be! I would definitely work with Black Katz again should I once again be looking into the London housing market.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Satisfied with the fees, a little steep for a student however the customer assistance made it worth every penny.

Excellent services. Always had someone available to speak to, and always took into account the best interests of both parties (tenant and landlord). Policy on first come first serve particularly appealing for the student market, as obviously students won't always be able to make the highest offer. Fairer way of trading also. Persistent with trying to find the most ideal property for ourselves, and also advising on properties that we can actually put in with a lower offer - saving us money. Overall wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Go to Black Katz, they are great, and not out to rip you off. They show you good houses, and are very nice people.
