Absolutely awful company who have been ignoring my requests for weeks about how much rent I owe as I’m moving out this month. They say they’ll let me know and never do. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve many emails to prove how much I’ve been chasing them and been into the store several times. I’ve also discussed this with multiple employees of the same branch but it’ll only let me tag two.

I have been so impressed with the service that I have received by one particular member of staff at Portishead called Kristina Kay, who has always been helpful, pleasant and not only efficient, but is always professional and courteous. Absolutely shocking! Very incompetent and unhelpful, things take ages to get addressed, do not reply to emails and avoid calls. Poorest customer service I have ever experienced, Agents laugh at their incompetence using the excuse that they never had to deal with a case of a tenant change (!). They unnecessarily mess with utilities, try to charge fees out of place and can't process change of personal details for months and months until it is directly addressed with the Countrywide. Avoid if you can! SHOCKING

That same warm welcome was enjoyed when I visited the office in person and the boring part of the process, "paperwork" , is dealt with slickly and professionally by all concerned. Chris dealt with the paperwork in a flash.

I have now rented two properties from Woods over the last 2 weeks and I have to say the professionalism and thoroughness displayed by Kristina in identifying correct properties for me was seamless. Christine dealt with one of the viewing/move ins for me and she was very concise and efficient in her role. In my opinion a very good team working from this office and the company have excellent assets for sure.

Woods is run by inept agents who falsely advertise their properties (wrongly saying our property includes white goods when it doesn't), forget to give you all your keys on check-in (causing us to have to run about to collect them), and who ignore and avoid contact regarding repairs they don't deem as urgent (even a whole month of heating/hot water issues in February because the boiler and thermostat were not installed correctly!.. And we're still waiting!) When we complained, our issues were down played and were spoken to in a patronising/rude manor. At every point in our renting experience they have gone above and beyond AWFUL. I would not recommend anyone use Woods as an estate agents, even if they are offering you you're dream home (..it won't be for long) - avoid!!

My grand daughter arranged a viewing of a flat in Nailsea and took time off work to attend. Her partner traveled a round trip from Birmingham of 150 miles and my wife and I went with them to give any advice needed. At 3.30pm, time of the viewing, we got a phone call to say the landlord was stuck on the motorway with the keys and they would update us in half an hour. At 4pm another phone call to say they were closing the branch and would not wait for the landlord who was allegedly informed and went home. Bloody disgrace, what do they care. Anyway, another viewing was arranged and again partner drove 150 miles to be there. This time, the agent turned up but could not get into the flat as oh dear, these are the wrong keys!!!and we can't get in. At this stage my grand daughter told them to stuff their flat and she would go elsewhere. Just who are these people? How the hell they keep in business God only knows. They have a disgraceful attitude to customer service and do not appear to give a damn about wasting a prospective tenants time, or indeed, doing their best to get a tenant for the landlord. Avoid these cowboys at all costs unless you want to waste your time chasing around after their complete incompetence. Gave them one star as there was no facility to stick two fingers up.
