terrible customer service almost impossible to get on the phone then when you do the problem you have takes forever to get solved or never does. They never answer the phone and when they do pretend to say they cant hear you then carry on ignoring your phone calls... Read Full Review

Not only did they advise us to use the worst lawyers I’ve ever dealt with but they have been deeply unprofessional a number of times. You simply can not trust them to do as they say, time and again they have failed to meet deadlines or check details.

Buying a house through Woods has been one of the worst experiences of my life, it’s taken months longer than expected and has left us feeling utterly gutted. Not only did they advise us to use the worst lawyers I’ve ever dealt with but they have been deeply unprofessional a number of times. You simply can not trust them to do as they say, time and again they have failed to meet deadlines or check details.
They have a never ending supply of excuses as to why things are taking so long and they never stand up to scrutiny. The number of times they have assured us that something would only take a few days when in fact it’s taken weeks is unbelievable. I’ve never dealt with poor quality agents, avoid them like the plague!

I opted to use Woods in Westbury on Trym following an awful experience with another agent. From the onset, Tim and his team filled me with confidence as they were so professional. The photographs of my home did it justice, the website description was inviting and mentioned all the house's potential. At every step of the selling process, I was kept well informed and actually achieved the full asking price for my home. Tim et al were always available to chat to on the telephone with any queries and provided a fantastic and personal service throughout the whole process from offer being accepted to completion. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I've been meaning to write this review for some time. I saw their sign outside someone's home recently and realised I felt guilty knowing that other people have had to suffer them.
It comes as no surprise that their ranking is so low. Here's the list of complaints (and it's by no means complete):
- The fees are far greater than competitors and therefore excessive
- Chucked us out after ~6 months with no explanation
(we were well behaved with no complaints and no damage to the property - my theory is that this is their standard practice so that they can bring in more excessive fees. I'd therefore be interested to know if other people have had the same experience)
- repeatedly entered the property without warning, even after being told that this really upset my partner who gets scared when she's home alone.
- failed to repair a broken door which could lock a person in
- failed to repair a dangerous electrical fault (water pooling around a kettle and toaster)
- told us bikes could be stored in the building when we viewed the property and then changed their minds a few weeks after we moved in. This left us no indoor storage option.
- as others have reported: staff are consistently rude and unprofessional
Dealing with these people was a waste of my time and money.

Staff are rude, unprofessional, lie at every turn. My experience with this agency was awful, I believe them to be con artists. It's as if they don't even actually want to LET the property that they are advertising. The agency fees are very steep and the way the staff treat you once they've taken ... Read Full Review

Staff are rude, unprofessional, lie at every turn. My experience with this agency was awful, I believe them to be con artists. It's as if they don't even actually want to LET the property that they are advertising. The agency fees are very steep and the way the staff treat you once they've taken your money is a joke. It wouldn't surprise me if they owned the flat that was being advertised in order to take agency fees off clients, once they have your money they come up with every reason under the sun to stop it from going through. They tell you that they'll contact you back but they fail to do so. When they do deal with you they are evasive, rude and disinterested in helping you with your move. Please save yourself the upset of dealing with this company. I hope that you find this before you hand over your hard earned cash.
