Michelle was invaluable to us in keeping us up to date with the progression of the sale, and despite being obviously incredibly busy, always took the time to reply to emails and phonecalls, and made sure to let us know the next steps of the process which was very helpful - we weren't sure what to expect as first time buyers! Following an initial valuation meeting, Perry Bishop offered a competitive commission rate, when compared with other agents in the local area. They were extremely quick to book viewings, using their existing and extensive database. All viewings were well-communicated via email, with feedback provided within a working day (or whenever the viewer provided it to them). They were quick to get me an offer, though it was less than the asking price. They worked with me and the prospective buyer to maximise the offer, and communicated this throughout the process. Once the offer had been accepted, they kept me informed on progress of the sale, and at my request, conducted an unoccupied property check, close to the Christmas holidays. I have rated them 3*s, as they did not provide important feedback on the unoccupied property check until early in the new year, meaning that I was unaware of an issue which I could have resolved over the Christmas period. Had this feedback been provided, I would have given them 5*s, for an otherwise excellent service. I would use them again, but would be more active in pursuing their actions - a lesson from my first experience of selling a house.

Complaints Procedure
COMPLAINTS HANDLING PROCEDURE
In the event of a client having a complaint regarding any aspect of the services provided by Perry Bishop and Chambers, the staff member will in the first instance endeavour to resolve any oral complaint before it develops into a formal written complaint.
Who to Contact
We have appointed Ian Perry FRICS to deal with complaints. If you have a question or if you would like to make a complaint, please do not hesitate to contact him.
If you have initially made your complaint verbally – whether face-to-face or on the telephone – please also make it in writing addressed to Ian Perry marked confidential.
Ian Perry may refer the matter to another director or senior manager within the Company in an effort to deal with complaints promptly and in an expeditious manner.
When will the complaint be responded to?
Once we have received your written complaint, Ian Perry will contact you in writing within seven days. At this stage we will give our understanding of your case. We will also invite you to make any further comments that you may have in relation to this.
What action will be taken?
Within twenty-one days of receipt of your written summary, Ian Perry will conduct an internal investigation of the facts and issues constituting the client complaint and write to you to inform you of the outcome of his internal investigation and let you know what action we have taken or will take.
What if the client is still not satisfied?
If, after receipt of the report and any subsequent correspondence the client remains dissatisfied, the client is free to request that an independent body review the complaint.
