How awful are these people? Taking all your details then never calling back. This happened twice. Then you have to chase them up and they're pretty rude on the phone I assume your after rentals why would you assume that?! No body use them, it's a mission just to get a viewing and... How awful are these people? Taking all your details then never calling back. This happened twice. Then you have to chase them up and they're pretty rude on the phone I assume your after rentals why would you assume that?! No body use them, it's a mission just to get a viewing and I'm a cash buyer and they really don't seem interested in doing viewings.

It's quite clear from all reviews for Goadsby that something is wrong with the way they operate, it is because they are all fresh out of school and don't have a clue? If so, maybe that's not their fault but lack of training but ALL estate agents in my opinion seem to think they are something there... Read Full Review

If so, maybe that's not their fault but lack of training but ALL estate agents in my opinion seem to think they are something there not and are all think they are better than anyone else. Anyway, after making two offers on a property and being told without them even contacting the client (I know this as I was told without them putting the phone down) this is just bad practice. At least offer to put the offer forward and make it look like your trying to negotiate for the rediculous fees you charge rather than just saying, "Na, they won't take that"

This agency is an absolute nightmare! They try to cheat you and take money from you whenever they can! Do yourself a favour and stay away from them as far as you can!!

I had been told in the past by several people to avoid Goadsby, however they seemed to be the only letting agents that had property's in the exact area I wanted. So, reluctantly I arranged a viewing and agreed to rent a property. On the day of paying reference fees and handing in the paperwork the members of staff were friendly and all seemed to be OK. However after 4 weeks I still had not heard from them regarding progress on referencing etc I contacted then to be told that they didn't have all of the references back so I asked why they hadn't told me so I could progress chase! When I phoned around to chase the remaining referees, I was told that the references had been sent off weeks ago! I have rented with Winkworth, Mitchells, House & Son and Palmer Snell and they all get the referencing completed in a day or two! It worries me that before I've even started renting through Goadsby they are proving to be problematic in the extreme. I should have listened to my friends.
