Alice Woodruff continues to fail to my deposit. We are now 34 days past my vacation date. Avoid at all costs. Makes sense as to why the landlord refused to use them after completion of contract. Giving them 1 star feels wrong. It should be 0.

Worst agent I have ever used. Incompetent and do not care. The customer service is appalling. Booked in a viewing, never received any confirmation. Out of sheer desperation to find somewhere to live decided to book a train anyway to view the property - From Cheltenham!! An £87 ticket! Only to be told that the property is no longer available. They only told me this after I rang them constantly, as they didn't even bother to call. AVOID these agents at all cost! Will never use them again!

Requested the agent to hire a end of tenancy cleaning service at a certain date before I leave the property so I can inspect the cleaning service. Did not carry out the task until after I left the property. Recommended a cleaning company that did not do a proper job, (SP home solution), which resulted in rental deposit being subtracted additional amount. Rental agency did not bother to do anything about it.

A few months back, I spoke to a man called Oakley on the phone, from the Southampton branch, who genuinely made me feel sick and disgusted, through his misogynistic and backward minded comments towards woman! I had rang to enquire about a property, for a very close friend of mine, who at the time, was at work and unable to use the phone to make her own enquiry. So she emailed me and asked if I could ring on her behalf, which I was more than happy to do. I rang and got through to an Oakley, I explained how my friend was interested in a property and that she would like to book a viewing. All good so far, but then, Oakley started to ask questions on my friends current circumstances, 'your friends income?', "£35000pa" 'great! Any children?' "yes, one 12 year old boy". At that point Oakley then stopped me short and said, 'I'll have to stop you there, as from my experience, woman like that! Single mums, make bad tenants, as they can never hold down a full-time job and always just end up claiming benefits, never paying their rent, upsetting their neighbours, smoking weed and just end up being a general nuisance to everyone!' After hearing that, I was so upset, I actually just put the phone down. And wanted to forget about it. Until now, because of the time we live in, repulsive, backward minded people like that, should be called out at every opportunity. I wonder what happened in this persons life, to have so much disrespect and hatred towards woman. I genuinely feel sorry for you and hope you seek the help you so desperately need, to be a descent human being. Not the low life scum that you are!

Unreliable and unprofessional.
They never call you back when they say they will. They don't care if there is an issue and you need help. They just want to take your money basically and as soon as this happens they let you deal with any issues you have and they go on to the next sale/letting.
My partner and I started renting a property, Fox and Sons are managing and since the very beginning everything was wrong with this agency. We initially wanted to see another property and they booked us in for a viewing just to tell us on they day of the viewing that the property was already gone. In the end we decided to rent the property we currently are still in and when they had to give us a temporary permit for the parking, they first reassured us that we don't need to act about the parking because they would call the company to give them our plate number (which I provided them with over the phone for that reason) but after that they decided to send us an email saying that we have to stick on the car screen that email as a temporary permit until we get the full permit. The mail ended up in the junk and nobody noticed it on time. They never called us to let us know about this important thing we had to do to avoid paying for any additional fee and therefore we had to pay £60 fee, for the very first time we parked in the new property. This could be the definition of miscommunication...
Another thing is that now they have locked the door of the water meter reader (don't get it...) and we are having issues with the water company so we need access to it. I have called them already one week ago and they said that they are going to call immediately the maintenance team to get them unlock the door and have the problem solved for us asap. Guess what... One week later I'm trying to contact them again and ask what happened and when they answer the phone they say "we are busy now we will call you later to discuss about it" and of course they never call.

Aaron Cassidy was the agent who really saw our sale through from start to finish.Every email was responded to within 24 hours. I rent two flats through this agency. They are by far and away the worst letting agency I have ever used. I am also not notified if rent is not paid by the tenants. I moved to Fox & Sons / Sequence as I didn't think Pearsons was great, but Pearsons is a dream compared to this outfit. Avoid Fox & Sons like the plague if you are a landlord.

Very unprofessional, incompetent and lying agency. They were promising everything when they were asked about property and none were true. I had to move out from previozs accomodation on exact date and they confirmed 3 times that property would be ready to move in before that. When it was not they lied they warned me about risk of not being ready. I would never risk of ending up being without accomodation. They caused me lot of additional costs and they didnt want to take any responsibility for it. Flat was unfinished when rented out finally and far from what was descibed so they provided false and misleading information. Flat for example doesn't have pisibility to have broadband internet coonection and noone ever mention that. Worst was agent *. And her manager covering her lies and unprofessionalism. They didnt provide me all documentation on time as they should taking advantage I am new in the UK and not familiar with all the processes and therefore covering they lies and put me in position withou choice. Just avoid them at any costs as service they provide is not worth a penny not to mention high fees they charge.

The agency is the worst agency that I had to deal with. The agent and more particularly the Branch letting Manager are incompetent, rude, lazy and disrespectful with customers. They provided me with misleading information when advertising and showing the flat that I wanted to rent. It was supposed to be unfurnished with allocated parking space. Once I moved in it was fully furnished and nobody was able to locate the parking space and provide me with the parking permit that was also needed. It took me more than 2 months to solve this by pushing Fox and Sons and by starting a complaint procedure to get financial compensations. Of course, their complaint department is also incompetent and just make laugh of the client. Everytime I was going there, I could see them making lough of myself behind their computer. They have been lying as well several time just to get rid of me. Fox and Sons behaves illegally , as it is illegal to provide misleading information to a customer and it seems that the law doesn't protect much against these behaviours as well. As a recap, I would say that it is an agency with incompetent. rude and careless people. I have only one advice, don't waste your time with the agency
