The worst agent I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Agent not turning up for viewings, double booked viewings without prior notice, failed to pass on offer, tried to put off a potential purchaser by not passing on an offer leaving him forced to contact me direct and negotiate between us, not what we paid for. Failed to progress the sale leading to frustration from top of chain and solicitors as well as myself. Then when you complain take nearly 3 months to respond and immediately threaten you with legal action over fees. Joke of a company, save yourself some money and use an online agent as it will be less work and a lot less money.

The selling team at the Bognor Regis branch are non-professional people. They can’t co-operate and internal and external communication doesn’t exist. I've met from their side many instances of trying to mislead and manipulate me, bringing extreme stress into my life. Let me tell you only some of the issues which I have met from Fox and Sons’ agents and their manager:
1. Before I signed the agreement I have been misled by Fox and Sons manager, Kerry. She told me and my partner that selling our house will be very easy. She was pushing me to sell the house lower when the contract with them was going to end.
2. People were coming for viewing even when I didn’t accept the viewing. They informed me that no one from the agency told them about the cancellation.
3. On the day of viewing, the agency cancelled the viewing by not telling us any reason.
4. The agents decided to switch on the central heating without my permission. They left the property with the boiler switched on for a few days.
5. I have been misled by Fox and Son's negotiator that the period from accepting a buyer offer to exchange is 3 weeks only and from exchange to completion is a week only. As a result, we've been waiting 14 weeks for the completion date.

Moral standards of company's modus operandi at highest level non existent:
Ist years accounts wrong. Stubbornly refused to correct them for IR accounting. Said that erroneous accounts to be submitted and error corrected in next years accounts. To do as you suggest is false accounting with consequent legal action.
Monthly accounts by email included in monthly fee – fine. To charge £100+ for simply doing a mail merge process for giving an annualised (AND WRONG) annual account for IR is outrageous, profiteering in the extreme and immoral. (King & Chasemore charge £18 for annual statement and about £100 for doing the whole tax return for IR).
Salmonella testing introduction. F&S offered to do this at extortionate fee of ~ £150 as a “special offer” joke joke. Can get it done at half that figure by going directly to same firm. Cost of arranging check should be covered by management fee as for gas safety etc.
TDS scheme. F&S charge ~ £50 at inception – fine, but not annually thereafter as set up rolls on until end of tenancy. Bulk annual fee paid by F&S which spread over all tenants is peanuts. Gross profiteering which is the WATCHWORD of F&S.
I have complained at length to the CEO and have never had a response which both explains why, and MORE IMPORTANYLY attempts to justify this modus operandi, which proved my point.
As in all cases there is some good, which throughout this saga, has been in the person of Jordon Sendall at head office. Whenever I have had problems/questions about the running of this tenancy he has always been understanding, helpful and competent in dealing with it, a sharp contrast to the disingenuous, mendacious, obfuscatory and downright immoral actions of F&S

Rented property with Fox and Sons for 3 years. Absolute nightmare. I was expected as part of the contract to use their legal people for the sale. But when contacted by them the spoken English was not understandable to me.
Total waste of time and effort.
