No further emails the next day and when I called them I simply received an apology. No offer to rebook. I can only presume this was a lucky escape. Appalling service at the outset.

As my property has been let through Fox & Sons and managed through Sequence for more than a decade, I've sufficient experience of the service quality delivered. Though at times, that service has been a little challenging and inconsistent, it has always yielded satisfactory results, that is, until now.
The results have gone way beyond satisfactory; they are absolutely superb...!!!
The most recent tenancy at my property has unfortunately not gone smoothly, culminating in the occurrence of a significant milestone. Over the past couple of weeks I've required the focussed attention of Sequence on time critical legal, and regulatory Health & Safety matters, and been truly amazed by the commitment and dedication of Lauren Collins of Sequence in Norwich, ably supported by Lee Stairs of Fox & Sons in Crawley.
Consequential thinking, out of office hours follow up and the taking of preemptive actions characterise the behaviour of Lauren, meaning that she has thought about a situation rather than just respond to it, foresaw potential negative consequences, then taken timely action to mitigate issues before they've occurred, thus preventing problems for me, the customer, that would otherwise have been beyond my control.
These actions were an exemplary example of service, that demonstrate a thorough dedication to customer care, and cement the foundation of trust I hold with Sequence.

What can I say about this Estate Agent, nothing complimentary that's for sure. We received no feedback from them after viewings what so ever, I had to constantly call them. They arranged an open day for our house so we went out for the day, they failed to lock my back door. Shoddy! After the open day, still no feedback until I waited a few days and called them. The only other viewings arranged by them did not even fit in with the times I had advised would be convenient, so it meant I had to change arrangements with my dog walker at short notice. On one occasion they called to confirm a viewing that I knew nothing about! We then saw a property we wanted to view in Bexhill, even though we had been told Fox and Sons had this vast network of agents throughout the UK we could not be found on their data base, even though we were registered with their Crawley branch. After viewing this property we made a full asking price offer. I left a message on Fox & Sons Crawley answerphone to let them know we had made an offer, which had been accepted in principle and asked if someone could call me on the MondaY. No-one called, I had to call them yet again. I took this opportunity to ask the manager why we were not on the Bexhill database, only to be told, it was probably someone who didn't know how to use the system I also asked what they could do to get some viewings or if there was any marketing activity they could do to help get things moving, bearing in mind we really wanted the property in Bexhill, the response was it's all about the price and that a reduction would need to be substantial Having since had several other estate agents to give us a market appraisal, they have all valued our property at �10,000 less than Fox & Sons did. it would seem to me they tell you the house is worth more to get your business, then when nothing happens they make you reduce the price. Trying to move home is stressful enough without having to deal with people who quite clearly are not fit for purpose! I would never use this agent again, even to the point where I am looking to buy a property I won't even consider it if it is up for sale with Fox and Sons, the house we had liked so much in Bexhill and had our offer agreed in principle, then appeared on Rightmove a few days later with Sold STC across the advert. No-one even had the courtesy to call me or send me an email to let me know. Poor service seems endemic in this company.

Gave a property to market and was told a 'property developer ' was buying the house. I had viewed two properties with James who was very helpful and finally found me the exact property that I wanted so I had made my offer and given all my details gave an offer of the asking price of £1000 the next day James called me to say the landlord wants £1050 so I told him the property is advertised as fully furnished bit in reality does not have the right mattresses for the beds or have sofas so it's part furnished that were rented out to my friend for £925 so it is very unreasonable for you to ask for that amount which he totally agreed to. However the following day I had spoken to the manager and said wether it's £1025 or £1050 I want the property to which there were no response from fox and sons Crawley so I went into the branch for the third time and was told James is on holiday for one week and Jim was looking after his work. I asked him why don't we have an agreement when I have offered the asking price even though that is way above the market value. His response was that the landlord wants even more money and that they were asking for £1100 and they had already booked 5 more viewings on Monday which made me furious and walk away from any dealings with them only to find the property on right move for £1050 which was my offer. I would never advise anyone to deal with Jim as he is a liar and total fraud. I own many properties and businesses but never have I ever dealt with anyone as rude or unprofessional as James which lead me to leave my first ever review so you can imagine how angry I must have been with the attitude and lack of professionalism of Jim. I would not recommend anyone to ever deal with this person ever in their life he is a total fraud who tried to get me to agree on £1100 but then advertise the property for £1050 which was my offer.
