Cluttons stands for everything that is wrong with property lettings / management agencies today. Extremely sub-standard service for property maintenance. Avoid, avoid, avoid. The people that take your money are great - charming, helpful, great communication. As soon as you're in, it's a different picture. Took more than 7 weeks to refund my rental deposit, 4 e-mails and the same number of voicemails simply ignored. Avoid buying or renting from Cluttons at all means!! They will try to sell you or make you rent a flat at any cost even if it involves lying to the buyer/renter. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
