Jane in the lettings department of the Birkenhead office was extremely helpful and professional assisting our search for a flat .during these challenging times she also ensured our safety whilst viewing properties and was knowledgeable about the surrounding area . I have come into contact with many estate agents and my opinion has not always been favourable but I can honestly say Jane from the Birkenhead office was tremendously helpful and engaging.

Abysmal communication and when they do get back to you the information they provide is vague and unhelpful. Absolutely fine taking my nearly £1000 deposit off me, I've moved out nearly two months ago the landlord has given his approval weeks ago for the deposit to be released. No damage on house and rent was always paid on time, still no deposit back off them! Constant excuses and obstacles put in our way. They were so keen taking the money off us but now it's time to give it back nothing but delays and absolutely no commutation at all. Disgusting service and professionalism I have dealt with estate agents for years and never experienced anything like the treatment of this Clive Watkin branch! Shameful!

I have used Clive Watkins Several times but just this month I sold a house with them. The service they provide is above and beyond and even though we had a difficult couple of months in between, it was down to the professionalism and diligence of the staff. Namely Sandra Fitzgibbons who was amazing! I can't thank her enough for the time and effort that she put in almost daily to help with the sale.

The patronising way of Gina is offensive to say the least and the lies her and dale gaskill tell is unbelievable , told me my application was in the process and accepted my money only to not even put it through for weeks and then start... Absolutely disgusting treatment from an awful estate agent . The patronising way of Gina is offensive to say the least and the lies her and dale gaskill tell is unbelievable , told me my application was in the process and accepted my money only to not even put it through for weeks and then start advertising without notifying me and even having the common decency to tell me , numerous calls to be told lies over and over and try and then be patronised by a young girl over the way estate agents work . Worst treatment and staff I have ever encountered at a estate agents . Stay away !!!!

Not very good - charitably could be described as having a complete lack of understanding of landlord and tenancy laws. Less charitably, attempt to rip of both landlord and tenants with made up charges and fees.
Of course, this is their job - they wouldn't last long if they attempted to do things by the book.
Certainly as a landlord, I'd never use them. As a tenant, just know your rights and stick to your guns.

An entire overhaul of the procedures and a complete review of customer care procedures.

After ignoring serious complaints about the property for months and hiding the intentions of the landlord (they intended to sell the property) both Carolle and Rachel in the lettings department took it upon themselves to attempt to steal our deposit. Only after threatening court action and wasting major amounts of our time were we able to recover a part of our deposit.
Insulting, rude, lying little schemers. I strongly advise giving Clive Watkin a wide berth. These guys couldn't care less whether you're moving into a property with or without children - you'll get screwed over just the same.
Complaining to their "management" won't make any difference either. A law unto themselves once the contract has been signed...
