Disgusting, just absolutely disgusting,
They invited us to a block booking which they never told us about. After a FAKE bidding war my sister and I were looking to purchase and we were accepted (since the agent already had my proof of funds -- something demanded long before we got to the offer stage). We were told the property would get Sold STC on them which they did, until Paige ad Ann pit their dummies out and took it down.
So we withdrew our CASH offer.
Clive Watkin is a despicable waste of time and money. The staff are also rude and, frankly, moronic!

Left property at end of our tennancy to then get a phone call saying that we owed a months rent. When i had proof that we didnt owe them anything it took for me to call around numerous people to get sorted instead of them sorting it and letting me know. When it was finally said it was all sorted a week later i got another phone call saying that we again still owed this extra month. I called the woman who had been dealing with this and told her, she said she would get it sorted. Took me 2 weeks after chasing to get a confimation email that we did not owe anything. Took 4 weeks to get deposit back after phoning them on almost a daily basis. Never again would we rent or buy or have anything to do with this company

I rented a house a few years ago through clive Watkins and boy it was a big mistake. They weren't useful at all! When the house was put on the market to be sold they would ring me up and be snotty if I couldn't do a day they wanted. At the time I had a toddler so I had to fit around him,his nursery and my work. They would turn up late when they had set a time with me so I lost money from taken time for half days. They aren't nice people at all, even of you go into the shop they walk off on you when you ask them something. I don't know how they are still going, I would never again rent with these people and luckily I brought a house though a better agent so I won't have to deal with these again.

We rented a house from clive watkins for 6 months. In the final inspection we were told that everything was fine and our deposit would be released to us. Almost a month later and numerous phone calls we are still waiting for OUR money to be returned. Being told by an employee that the delay was unacceptable does not help when we are owed �800. I am sure if we were to have kept them waiting for the same length of time for the rent they would not have been as patient!

very poor service from clive watkin. always trying to book lots of people at once to view rented accomodation. half the time you get there and they dont even have the keys to open the back door! other times they rearrange appointments even when you are stressed out and had to take time off work to view a property. the attitude is so unprofessional and unhelpful, challenge them and they make no effort to apologise - do they really know how stressful it can be for some people to have to arrange viewings and move home so often? one would think not! the way they play you off against the landlord, show no empathy or understanding, once we visited a property to look around and they had booked in 8 other people at the same time .. all just to keep thier costs down! there lady showing us around didn't have a clue about the property and couldn't answer any questions that we had agreed to meet them to answer - Do these guys think they are god - by thinking they have the power to pick and choose who should apply for a property? seriously unprofessional and so dissorganised - would not reccomend to anyone! recently they promised to call us back but never even bothered! BEWARE
