As a landlord who lives outside the UK, the service Clive Watkins has provided has been exceptional for the last few years. Kind and understanding of our limitations, nothing has been too much trouble to organise and arrange - from building work, gas checks and new kitchens to dealing with insurers after a flood. I reported that my front door lock was broken as we couldnt lock it from the inside of the house as the lock on the inside had spun around therefore the key wouldn't go in,the lock was fine from the outside of the house it locked a d unlocked... Read Full Review

Absolutly disgusting,horrible arogant people I reported that my front door lock was broken as we couldnt lock it from the inside of the house as the lock on the inside had spun around therefore the key wouldn't go in,the lock was fine from the outside of the house it locked a d unlocked fine.they came and fixed and sent me a bill for £45 and said that someone had tried to break in or had tampered with the lock.i explained to them that if someone tried to break in(which was rubbish)how did they brakecthe inside lock,even the plumber builder yes plumber builder who came to fix it told them it wasnt the case.they still said i would have to pay as its my fault,if it was wear and tear they would pay.i have had a nightmare with this company they will not fix anything off there own back they just dont care

Awful service selling my house through Clive Watkins was a big mistake- they make no effort to apply good sales training to sell your property they were only able to sell when we were forced to drop the price . Awful service selling my house through Clive Watkins was a big mistake- they make no effort to apply good sales training to sell your property they were only able to sell when we were forced to drop the price . Poor communication, poor customer service considering we were selling due to a divorce they were insensitive to this. They were rude to talk to and seemed to have no clue , when we went to pull the property and go with a different estate agent they blagged us to stay by dropping the fees. The house sold two months ago and now they are saying we didn't pay the correct fees and we owe VAT. Steer well clear from this company !

We were left in the property for 12 months with bad damp problems. Excessive mold growing in our bedroom, which grew into a built in cupboard and ruined a number of my wifes bridesmaids dresses and the interior of about two thrids of a wall was so damp that the plaster was coming away from the wall. I found Tim rude and found that Malcom had little time for us, and insisted the issue was caused by condensation (though we had no mould in the bathroom - the wetest room in any house and the first place condensation would cause problems).
We paid for a professional inspexction, but the agent took little notice and made no effort to get the Landlord to act, so we waited until our tenancy ended and moved onto another agent.
The rest of the team (Pauline is the only name I can remember) were always polite and helpful, if a bit unorganised. We regularly had to chase them for updates on maintenance issues.
