Initially a positive experience with Jamie Collins from the Maidenhead branch trying to sell a retirement flat in Maidenhead. Initially a positive experience with Jamie Collins from the Maidenhead branch trying to sell a retirement flat in Maidenhead. Only achieved 3 viewings over 24 weeks and became increasingly untrustworthy and unprofessional. Communication broke down almost entirely with feedback from the few viewings we had. I was told Jamie had left and I was being dealt with a junior called Eddie who offered no insight. After providing notice for termination of the contract they became increasingly keen to communicate with allegedly a lot of people interested in the flat so I may agree to extend the contract to the point of harassment. The final communication was with the manager in Maidenhead Ben Hamlin who spoke assertively claiming I was still under contract which was completely false and continued to forcefully speak to me whilst I was driving and explaining on speaker that they no longer had a contract with me to sell the flat. This ended up with him claiming it was I who was being rude by defending myself on the phone and that he was glad they were not selling the flat. They showed little compassion as to why I was selling a retirement flat in the first instance and was a blatant attempt at making me feel bad.

So in summary, nice as pie to sign you up but poor performance actually selling your property and their customer service deteriorates to the point you wished you had never used their services. Please save yourself time and stress by avoiding them and use a different agency preferably where you deal with competent and trustworthy people.

I will never use this get again, I can't even bring myself to list the many failings during the sale of our flat and it was 2 years ago now. 100's of phone calls in total t actually talk to someone that works there, completely mislead on the position the buyer was in, no understanding ... I will never use this get again, I can't even bring myself to list the many failings during the sale of our flat and it was 2 years ago now. 100's of phone calls in total t actually talk to someone that works there, completely mislead on the position the buyer was in, no understanding of our frustrations each time we were misled. I honestly felt at one point that I was losing my mind and that I must be subject of a prank! Just terrible. Because of them, next time I sell I will try out an online agent.

Their service was appalling. My tenant damaged my property but Chancellors was saying nothing was wrong - but I luckily got to know about the damage from the plumber. They were very friendly and their response was very quick when they wanted the contract, but their response became very slow after the contract was signed. To make it worse, when I claimed deduction from the deposit, they gave me my TDS number and said "do it yourself". Shocking service.
