Throughout my stay, most of my complaints were ignored till the end of my tenancy, it was left unsolved. Had issues regarding refund of deposit, claims without evidence were made during check-out to attempt to deduct my deposit. This is an unprofessional practice. Some of the issues during check-out had been complained by me when I moved in, but it was ignored. However, for the same issues I raised that were left unsolved, they want to deduct my deposit to solve it for the next tenant. It was totally unreasonable when it was never solved for me in the first place. This caused a huge delay in refunding that took us few months after I moved out.

LANDLORDS BEWARE. Manchester branch: They treat tenants terribly but most importantly are NOT good property managers. They do not always carry out end of tenancy cleaning/repairs (which you assume are done for the amount being paid) and just hope the new tenant doesn't notice. If the new tenant does notice you are both drawn in to battle with them as to who pays for what when these guys should have been sorting this to begin with. The property I was involved with had a bailiff threatening to knock the doors down for a tenant that had left years ago - no help and can only imagine who'd have footed the bill for new doors. I've been a tenant and a landlord for years, I wouldn't go near this bunch ever again. Also - staff at DIRECTOR level are incapable of handling GDPR issues. Stick with agents that know what they are doing.

However, for the same issues I raised that were left unsolved, they want to deduct my deposit to solve it for the next tenant. An absolutely appalling company from start to finish. I would avoid at all costs. To say they just don't care is not the half of it. Their customer service is like being part of a comedy sketch. From beginning of rent, handed keys to find that furniture still in house that was promised to be removed. Response from JFW was " oh just put in the garage". They then are trying to keep my deposit on leaving. The house was cleaner than when I moved in. They even had to send a profession al cleaning company round during first few days - was that bad! Now I cant get my deposit back as they have kept for over 3 months, and when I try and go legal with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, no joy as over 3 months. They knew this throughout. A criminally bad estate agency.

Abysmal service. I booked a viewing, only for them to turn up without a key to the property. When we could not enter the building the agent Alex showed his concern for his viewings the next day hoping he could get in then!! I was stood right there and he was concerned about other viewings! Unbelievable. I then rearranged for a week later. After several phone calls from Jordan Fishwick to confirm my attendance I get a phone call 30 minutes before the viewing saying the agent, Alex, is stuck in traffic so would be 15-30 minutes late. I waited at the property. I then received another call saying he was on his way to another viewing and would be an hour. I nearly put a deposit down before even seeing the property but am now so disgruntled I will not view another property with this company. If you are a landlord considering using Jordan Fishwick to rent your property then I urge you to reconsider. They have lost a prospective tenant because of their own poor organisational skills and unprofessionalism. Not who I would want to represent me or my flats!

I have recently bought a flat through Jordan Fishwick in Manchester City centre and I would highly recommended anyone looking to buy to register there details with them. They keep my updated through emails and phone calls of new properties that came to the market that would be of interest to me which I found is something that other agents failed to do. They conformed all viewings by text message and always showed up on time and had all the right information to hand like service charge, length of lease etc. Lily was very informative about the different areas of the city centre and development I was looking at and this helped me make the right choice for my property purchase. Lily kept me updated throughout the sales process, like when my survey was booked and also chasing the vendor and their solicitor to provide the necessary information to speed up the process!! 5 star service from an estate agent which is nowadays rare to come across! Professional but also very friendly service. Not your typical 'sleezy/salesy' estate agent!

My overall experience with Jordan Fishwick was positive. As a first time buyer I had a lot of questions about the buying process as well as the properties I viewed. Alex was always very clear with her responses which helped enormously and she quickly picked up on the sorts of places I was interested in. Due to this I found a great flat quite quickly and the bidding process was fairly straightforward, again due in part to Alex being clear and efficient with everything. The whole process was surprisingly not too stressful!

Although our Agent was friendly in person, correspondence was sometimes slow. Also the �300 admin fee paid did not translate into any tangible assistance when trying to lodge a credit check and immigration check. I feel Jordan Fishwick would provide a better experience if I was the landlord... Read Full Review

The agents fees seemed quite high considering it did not cover any of the checks involved, nor did it include a rather strange key handover fee. A few which still baffles me considering it was done in their office and took all of 5 minutes.
