I was selling my property through them and when due to a Huge Change in my personal circumstance I ahd to take the property of the market the sent the following letter to me.
I have never been threatened in such a manner by a company that is actually trying to attract customers.
They may in the past have had the odd issue surrounding this but to send such a letter to all clients who remove a property form the market is truly ATROCIUS.
TREATING ALL CUSTOMERS LIKE CRIMAINLS OR SCUM IS NOT THE BEST APPROACH TO CUSTOMER SERVICES
This are some of the extracts from the letter.
The first threatening section was IN BOLD AND UNDERLINED
âWE TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO REMIND YOU THAT SHOULD YOU SELL THE PROPERTY TO ANY PURCHASER WE HAVE INTRODUCED, THROUGH OUR MARKETING THEN OUR FEE WILL BE DUEâ
You can't shout more or make any content of a letter more aggressive than making it in bold and underlining it. I've been in sales for 30 years these people know nothing about how to deal with people truly appalling.
I then goes on to say.
âwe regularly check land registry every 3 months to confirm thisâ
Another open and blunt threat
They then add
âIt is company policy to chase all fees due to us through every possible legal avenueâ
If you wish to deal with a company that treats the people that are paying their fees and wages fell free. My advice would be to avoid at all costs.
If you are selling in Macclesfield I understand that Holden and Prescott are very good wish I had know this before instructing these awful people.
Funniest thing of all is that they finish the letter with if you wish to re market the property please contact us. YEAH LIKE I WOULD EVER HAVE ANYTHNING TO DO WITH THAT ORGANISATION AS LONG AS I LIVEâ¦â¦.
HAVING BEEN IN SALES AS I SAY FOR 30 YEARS I FEEL I AM A PEOPLE PERSON THESE PEOPLE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED INSTRUCT THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Compared to other agents I was using I found the telephone manner brusk, the details of the property on the email was poor ( tiny details - email signature with no phone number on it, no full address and post code of the flat on the email) and I was left feeling that the money and Jordan Fishwick process were the only thing that mattered. I was asked twice if I had a poor credit rating, which I don't. For the record, I am also a landlord and for my tenants I wrote an annotated booklet with details of all the "how to stuff" you find in a new place - where the meters are - how to turn the heating on etc. For the record, I still havnt been sent a copy of the contract I signed.

I have always used JFW when selling a property and they have always been fantastic. This time they surpassed our expectations. Our overall experience with Jordan Fishwick and all their staff was fantastic. We were after a quick sale, and a quick sale is what we got. The property went on their website and rightmove on the Wednesday then three days later on the Saturday we accepted an offer of the full asking price.
