My boyfriend and I are first time buyers and knowing where we wanted to live was easy - it was just trying to find the best house. We popped into Beals in Waterlooville and got set up for any notifications on new houses on the market - then our house popped up! Matt phoned us to tell us about it and that we'd need to act fast to get a viewing, we saw it that weekend and were the first ones to see it and put down an offer the Monday! It all was a massive world wind of excitement. We have had some ups and downs within the time we've waited to exchange but Liz was always there to help us through the other side. As a first time buyer you don't know what to expect and you get told a lot of different things when buying but Liz was brilliant, she was always on the other the end of a phone or email to inform me of what was happening, even though they won't receive any money from us for helping us find our lovely house, I felt so looked after and would love to have Liz and Beals help us again! Without a doubt the best service I have received as a customer!

Her attitude and enthusiasm shone, and once we gave her the property to market it was snatched by a tenant within a day. Unfortunately the tenant bailed, but that was no problem for Amy, as soon as the property became available again it was snatched up immediately.

Amy contacted us when we were advertising our property for rent with another agent. At that time we supposedly had tenants lined up to move in and so we declined her offer of help. After our former agents had failed for a third time to successfully rent the property (and had lied to us) I rang Amy who was only too pleased to help and very quickly got on the case- we had viewings within a few days and our new tenants moved in less than 2 months after we went on Beal's books - and that period included Christmas and New Year!! Darrell and Beals became involved with the sale of my mother's house, which had been on with a different agent, after a direct approach. They secured a sale which we were happy with after a short period of time. Darrell also helped the sale along when things appeared to hit a lull, and everything proceeded fairly smoothly to exchange of contracts. Always available to deal with whenever needed. There were a couple of admin blips, but nothing that caused any problem or couldn't be fixed. I had always been a bit wary of Beals because they can come across as a bit 'hard sell' sometimes - but there are times when that is exactly what you need - and it worked well for us this time.

I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to both Darrell and max with their kindness and quickness at replying to my many emails!
From the moment we were shown this house to the stage we are at now Darrell has always been on the end of the phone answering any questions we have. Letting us pop round the house a good few times for different things.
Having a warm friendly face when you are buying a house for the first time is so needed and is exactly what I got with Darrell.
The situation has been smooth running the entire time and I have had no worries with how he handled everything.
I would definitely recommend Darrell to any of my family and friends without hesitation.
Nothing has ever been too much and everything asked was done or answered!

I am loathe to even give them one star. They let our furnished property for ten years whilst abroad. Returned back to find all our furniture had gone. They hadn't taken an inventory for our second tenant or visited the property in their first three years. Their response to this was it was up to us to request an inventory plus they had lost all our paperwork when they changed their computer systems so no record of what happened to our furniture.

Out of 3 local agents darrell from beals came across the most realistic on the potential for selling our bungalow in the time frame required.
Our first potential buyers pulled out for no apparent reason after leading both beals and ourselves on a merry dance and us meeting there requests.
The second dreamer was just that but both times darrell re-focused and pushed our property back out on the market .
He kept us informed all the time during this. After we found our buyer contact became scarce wether this was due to messages not being relayed to him by other staff members we're not sure .
Confirmation of the dates of exchange and completion came from our solicitors and it seemed to be a shock to beals when contacted again communication not a forte.
Sale completed without a hitch but there was no chain to exasperate the situation.
Darrell is a likable young guy who is very enthusiastic in his job , he is willing to go that extra bit to help but his age does tell when dealing with people old enough to be his parents .

Darrell Manchip gave us an excellent service from the beginning of the transaction to the end. It was a complicated purchase because of existing tenants, but he patiently supported us, the vendors and the tenants to reach agreement, doing far more for us than we had any right to expect.
He kept us up to date throughout and responded swiftly to all our queries, liaising with the solicitors as well when necessary, and with other team members at Beals who covered him when out of the office. When there were delays he dealt with them and moved matters forward again.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services - he is the best UK estate agent we have come across, a pleasure to work with, and we would trust him implicitly with any future property transaction we may have.

The next evening, Darryl showed a prospective buyer around and received an offer, which we accepted. Good choice !!
The journey to completion was looked after by Liz. She was very attentive and was the go between for all involved parties. Liz would always update us whenever she could and no question was left unanswered. She was available every evening, which suited our working hours.
Both Darryl and Liz fully confirmed our selection of Beals.
