This is directed toward the portsmouth's north end brunch!
The worst and the most scumbag people I had ever dealt with..... This is my months of honest experience and pure frustration dealing with beals.
There are just too much to voice out here so I'll only give a few key examples only.
Me and my partner we're looking toforward to our new life relocating to portsmouth due to my new job and we approached beals north end for helping us with looking for a new place to rent. This disrespecful person jasmin warwick is the so called agent we're assigned to deal with. This unprofessional lowlife of a person literally lack soo much communication skill that soo many things were miscommunicated from the start...
1. We were under the impression that the unit will be partly furnished. We were informed that the minimal amount of furniture will be left behind for us to use like just a sofa in the living room only. We have our own furniture to move in with but on the day we collect the key for checking. The place is pack full with furniture, including beds in bedroom and a dining table in livingroom just to name a few. This forced us to for-go our own furniture.... We called jasmin about this and she does not even sound like she cares at all on the phone. Just kept saying the owner does not want to take away the furniture, its our problem now and we have to deal with it....
2. On the initial call, both party agreed that the owner does not mind with pets. But when comes to closing the deal, we got thrown with a curve ball saying the owner want a raise because we have a pet... This is utterly the most disgusting attitude towards animals and the worst level of communication... Because of this, we're are forced to pay more just because we have pets. This idiot jasmin also kept pressuring us to decide if not they will go with another person who is willing to go with the price.... You dare to call this fairness and professional!!??...
The worst part is, we didnt end up bring our pet with us in the end due to the chaotic BS and drama we have had to deal with these scumbags. Causing soo much metal stress and depression to my partner because our pet cannot come with us....
3. Issues with the house was initially reported early on during the day we moved in. We live there for roughly a year+. NONE of the reported issues ever got address or fixed.... To the point it is soo ridiculous that on the week we plan to move out, only then the handyman decided to come by just to only access the things that require fixing.... How much lower can these stupid useless people want to go down to the bottom of the barrel regarding their communication and professionalism...??
4. Both the home owner and the beals agency are completely heartless and useless.. There are issues with the toilet, issues with the boiler, issues with the toilet extractor fan and issues with the internet. All reported early on. The home owner themself does not care and refuses to fix the issue. Then the agents themselves including this worthless jasmin person did not bother to help at all......!!!
At the end of the day, when we moved out, we did sent an email to the main beals contact email notifying them we are retuning the key on a set date. But some how, this idiot jasmin amazingly able to missed the email again. Saying that she was not inform regarding us returning the keys. Thats the final draw, we are absolutely done with dealing with these useless and brainless people.
We are soo exhausted from trying to even communicate on a basic level with these agents, we deicided to direct all emails to official beals contact email to get responses on our issue while living in portsmouth. All these agent's email are completely unrealiable, unprofessional and disrespecful towards us. Not giving a single care to even help.....
I honestly dont know if this is just a problem with portsmouth north end brunch issues or if this is an issue for the wider beals company but beals management team, if you are sincerely listening and if you do have a genuine human heart. Please, clean up your act, this is no way to treat customers like that!!! How do you feel if this whole treatment is directed to you personally or your family members? Grow some brain cells and try your hardest to think for a second there, if you can.... All the email and recorded conversation archived as proof of evidence if needed.
And as for jasmin warwick, lucy hayward and that one old guy that work with them, SHAME on you all for your disgusting treatment towards us!! SHAME on all of you!!!
How about try growing a heart and be kinder and fairer towards people for a change. Try that for once in your life if you're even capable of that!...
Beals single handedly ruin our impression towards portsmouth while living there. We deeply regret moving to portsmouth and would highly caution everyone when deciding to go with beals agency or moving to portsmouth. A really horrible place to live!!

Would not recommend these at all. We ended up terminating tenancy with them as we could not live in the property. Also received threatening phone calls for return of keys prior to agreed date.

She later came back to me that I had a CCJ pending which I have not paid off...and because of that she withheld my �500 as non refundable, and she said out of goodwill she will refund �100.
This is totally unfair and an act of wickedness.I ALREADY TOLD YOU I HAVE A CCJ!!! THE AMOUNT NOT WITHSTANDING AND I EVEN CAME BACK TO SHOW HER MY CREDIT REPORT THAT ONE CCJ IS ALREADY SATISFIED AND THE PENDING ONE IS ON GOING WITH DIRECT DEBT!
WHAT OTHER EXPLANATION DOES SHE NEED? IF I DID NOT INFORM HER AT MY FACE TO FACE MEETING WITH HER,POSSIBLY i will pass it off! BUT I DID!!!!
I will keep telling anyone that cares to listen about this evil thing by Beals letting agent and their evil staffs!

I have not had a good experience renting with Beals at all.
At first it was just property maintenance that was below standard however, by the end of my tenancy, staff in branch were also completely incompetent.
I had not hot water in December for over two weeks. When I complained to Maxine in property maintenance, I was told 'I was lucky to have running water'.
I ended up arranging early release form the property. I was told I would be responsible for the rent until a new tenant moves in (of course this is fine). I paid a full months rent for February, the new tenant moved in at the end of February and I'm now being told I'm not due any rent back. Beals are essentially collecting rent on this property twice.
Some staff are fine but most are inexperienced. You will find, because the more experienced staff have no real support from the inexperienced 'trainees', their service is sub standard.

The most unprofessional, disgusting level of service imaginable! I rented a place in North end, the boiler didn't work from day one, the shower was broken, the toilet leaked on the balcony and had been leaking for months which turned to green sludge. This was still there on moving in day. The carpet had fleas and there was mould throughout the flat. I had no electric key for the pay and go meter and Matthew rudd didn't even know who provided the electric. I was left with all these problems to sort myself, I didn't have a boiler for over 2 weeks at the beginning of December. I never received an inventory and when I moved out they tried to keep all my �525 deposit because of condensation which was due to the fact the flat had very poor insulation and no natural vents. The staff are rude and hang up on you and they will lie constantly to get their own way. I wouldn't touch Beals with a 10ft barge pole and I will make sure everybody knows what bunch of unprofessional primark suite wearing lying cowards they actually are.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Simply they suppose to check every thing before they gave me the keys , the door very easy to find out that the whole lock need to be change the obliged me to use the window in staid for 2 days I leave my house open, check the oven extremely old and I can't use it no way to control the trmperature , the boiled very old the electrician as soon as he sow it he said this need to be changed, toilet door spent close no privacy , shower gives hot water 5 mn then 2 mn cold water they need to make sure that when someone asked for unfurnished house means no broken chairs left no bathroom dirty carpets no Broken Hoover left I wanted find imply space to put my furniture....

Of course when we sow the house I didn't tray this if they working properly or not .
Add to this they send me an envantory which is full of staff need to go to the bin not to stay as part of furniture ( I'm renting unfurnished house ) but still cause the landlady was too lazy she left all her rubbish inside to me to clear it but I was surprised that it's part of envantory . I'm asking the agent since end of June to pay me back £85 whitch I spent to fix the front door and they said they still tray to contact the landlady !!!!

Matt Rudd told me about a lovely studio flat in Portsmouth in a nice location, which was important to me, as I live on my own. The flat was perfect and I have been here a month already and love it.
I found Beals in North End, Portsmouth to not only be friendly and helpful, but also very professional. They kept me informed of what I had to do to rent this flat and what they had to do. Matt also suggested I saw their financial advisor Barry Watson, in the North End branch, to discuss my pensions. I found Barry to be very helpful and professional.
I found nothing was too much trouble for the staff, for any information or questions I had. I was able to move into the property on the day that was suitable to me.

A very positive experience with Beals. Matt was very patient with us and allowed us the time to get our house ready for rental and didn't bombard us with communication, emails etc. He kept in contact but without pressuring us, which we appreciated. Once ready to rent, Matt came back and valued our house and within a week the house had tenants, ready to move in within the month. And here we are now, with tenants living in our home and from start to finish it has been a stress free process. Thank you

From our first dealings with Ross Whelan we were very pleased to sell our home with Beals. Ross was thorough, knowledgeable and very likeable and most of all not all pushy. Firstly, they have very high fees (�480) which took a serious hit on my bank account, I'm sure this can't be the standard for other letting agents.
Having got locked out of the flat at one point I contacted them to borrow a spare key and was told they didn't have one, and that I should contact the landlord. (This seems very strange that they wouldn't have a spare key for emergencies)
When I paid my second installment of rent direct to them, I received a text from my landlord asking if I had paid my rent in late. No, they simply hadn't passed it on. From this point on I paid my landlord directly.
I was not checked in or out of the property (i.e. with an inventory list of existing damage etc).
When it came to retrieving my deposit back, the process took nearly three weeks (despite my landlord and I coming to an agreement on the final day of the tenancy). During this time I had to chase Beals three times, and when I contacted my local branch I was told
