great service although couldn't get through to them very often as the office is quite small. Would definitely use again as better than all the other local agents

AVOID. Its just not worth it. They nearly went bust a couple years ago - with service like this, I imagine they will do soon. AVOID. Its just not worth it. They nearly went bust a couple years ago - with service like this, I imagine they will do soon. Terrible experience as a departing tenant - rude, supercilious emails from some keyboard warrior trying to blame everyone else for not having organised the return of my deposit yet - 7 weeks and counting. Islington Council refunded the excess council tax quicker than Cluttons can get its act together! Whilst there are no complaints or concerns at all, the property manager has blamed his colleagues for being on maternity leave, cleaners, the deposit scheme, the lighting, and me several times - and now, has done the classic of apologising to me for my "feeling" that this is poor management.

I would like to thank all the staff and in particular Tim King and Michael Henry who did a brilliant job and worked tirelessly to sell my house in Islington.There were a few problems with Brexit and buyers pulling out at the last minute but in the end we got there and the new buyers are completely satisfied . Fees were fair (x% plus VAT, no sale no fee), not the cheapest but I believe you need enough of an incentive for the agent to fight your case and get a good price.

I was very impressed with Tim and Michael at Cluttons and would recommend them as a selling agent to someone looking to market their property in and around the Angel/N1 area. Despite sadly not managing to find us a buyer this time they did succeed in getting a significant number of viewings in a very challenging market and were communicative, professional and honest throughout the process. We had been listed with an online agent for a number of weeks prior to using Cluttons with no viewing requests, and from when Cluttons were instructed we were beginning to do viewings within 1-2 days. I would have no hesitation in giving them the opportunity to market a flat on my behalf again in future.

The agency needs to implement adequat procedures and training for their employees and adhere to industry best practice.

Avoid at all cost!
This is by far the worst experience we have had with an agent.
We have both been renting in London and abroad for a long time and have been quite lucky to have mostly very good experience and responsive agents.
However the level of incompetence and ignorance at Cluttons is quite unique and drain a lot of energy, money and time from us as tenants and the landlord equally.
Their contractors are equally rude and try to give you the impression that low standard is the norm.
We are now looking for a buy to let in the area and will not be using Cluttons for any of this work for sure.

They drove us crazy for a few months - don't go there.
