When I moved into my property I came across a few problems that I did not expect but both Kobir and Jones worked with me to resolve the issues. They were always approchable and made my issues a priority. They worked to figure out how best to resolve my problems and made sure it was alligned to my schedule no matter how late I finished work. I would definitely recommend Sterling De Vere because of them and I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

FACT! i have dealt with Sterlin De vere for the past 2years as a tenant, namely the Bethnal Green branch! i dont know where to start... we had a 101 problems with the house, from broken showers, central heating not working in winter months, blocked toilets and sinks, broken door handles, mice in the kitchen, the list goes on and on and as a house we sent them 100's and i mean 100's of emails and on an odd occasion got a response! they are totally unprofessional and did not care for our needs at all! we had to threaten to get the council involved in order for them to help us with something as important as heating in the winter. In fact, one time to grouped together about a bunch of problems that exsisted and not only did they not help us THEY RETAILIATED!!!! like school children, they did a house inspection, not to fix the problems with the house, but to find issues we were doing wrong. we had two parking spaces joined to our house and suddenly we were all banned from using them and they errected poles to stop our cars entering them, all the bikes were banned from being insidfe the property and they confiscated my bike from me! imagine that, two empty car parking spcaes outside the house that nobody used for over a year, and why, what is the logic??? there wasnt any logic.
I have just moved out from the house and left my room in a good state, expecting my full deposit back and have just recieved a list of fees and charges which will be deducted from ym deposit. the whole system is designed to make money.
An agency is supposed to exsist to facilitate and help both the landlord and tenants but the syste is broken with this agency, they care solely for the landlords! and it shows! and i have never wront a complain about anyone or anything, yet i feel obliged to warn people that i can guarentee you will all hate that you have signed a contract with this agency! its actually blown me away and makes me think there should be a governing body that exsists to regulate agencys like this in a more thourgh way, because it is disgusting the way myself and the current and previosu house mates were treated. Because i am not the only one, in fact 5 different house mates left the property just because of the agency. we were paying between 800 to 900 pounds for a room, yet the house was a mess. they should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They barge into the house with no notice, wander into tenant rooms (whether or not you're dressed), allow dangerous electrical issues to drag on for months before lying and trying to claim that tenants are the ones who broke items.
Do not rent with this agency. The conduct and culture at this office in particular is appallingly unprofessional. They'll e-mail you randomly, threatening that you'll need to prove all payments made to them (they're bad at checking their own accounts on top of everything else).
I don't know how these people look at themselves in the mirror each morning. They're cowboys, and hopelessly bad at it.

Worse decision I made renting a house with sterling de vere. Promised a cleaner every week and it turned up maybe 3 times over 3 months. Agents came into our room without permission and showed others around multiple times.My boyfriend and I never needed to lock our bedroom door as we trusted our housemates so never brought our keys out. An agent went into our room ( without our permission) showed people around and locked out door behind them so we were locked out for 3 hours whilst having to wait for the locks to be changed. The locks man then complained that I wasn't wearing enough clothes ( i was wearing shorts and a long jumper) and Stirling de vere called up my boyfriend to say i was dressed inappropriately. This was in my flat, in my bedroom wearing clothes that I'd wear on a normal summers day outside. They are unprofessional and I do not trust them to find anyone accommodation that they are happy in. They do not care about their customers once they have found accommodation and signed the tenants agreement. I'm writing on here because I wish someone would of told us this when we trusted this company.

This is without a doubt the worst agency and renting experience I have ever encountered.
To begin with things were not so bad, minor issues. I went to see the property it was clear that the photos in the spareroom advert were taken several years before. In person, the furnishings looked very old and worn. However the bedroom was fine and I did need to move quite quickly so accepted this. I was told by the sales agent that the living area was going to be refurbished sometime in the next three months (this was a lie).
When I moved in the room was filthy, had dirty dishes and bedsheets which I had to remove and clean the room myself as it was quite late when I moved my stuff and I needed to be able to sleep there.
Various complaints were made such as loose tiles in the bathroom last October which someone was supposed to repair on two occasions but never did. Any follow up was ignored.
The breaking point was when water from the shower started to leak into my bedroom and cause a large crack to form in the ceiling. Apparently the leaking was an issue as well for the previous occupant so it was clearly never properly fixed! I rang and emailed photos to let them know someone needed to urgently come.
The following evening someone came to seal the bathroom and I was told that 'someone would be back' to repair my ceiling.
The next day, more water starts leaking and part of my ceiling COLLAPSES while I am in the room. This was three weeks ago and despite emails and calls to my 'account manager' Amelie and the general number nothing further has been done. I was told someone would fix it on Tuesday...on Sunday and even received an email telling me that the 'issue had been fixed' and asking what I was talking about. What an absolute joke! My last two emails have been completely ignored.
I am at a point where I have given up dealing with the incompetence of this agency and given notice to vacate as I am not continuing to pay high rent for unliveable conditions (which has also been ignored). Going by the 'customer service' so far, I can only imagine how difficult it will be for me to claim my deposit back.
A word of advice- avoid at all costs. I am paying high rent for sub-standard accommodation which i have not even been able to live in for the last 3 weeks. Word of advice- don't bother. You will find better, more reliable service elsewhere for the same price or even less.

I did mention to her that the office was a 45 minute tube journey for me and that the actual apartment was a 10 minute walk so did she want to meet there instead? but "company policy" she had to meet at the office. I agreed that it was fair enough. Annoying as it was I booked myself an Uber for £16 as I was keen too look at this property! After work (Leaving a presentation early because of this) I got in my uber. I text sophia letting her know that I was on the way, which she replied saying "no problem" I arrived at the office and walked in, someone approached me asking who I was here to see so i explained i was meeting sophia! He asked me to fill out a form on an ipad. After doing so I stood there again and another man approached me asking who i was here to see. Looking sheepish as he knew they had lied to me, he told me that sophia had gone out with a client and wouldnt be back. Furious which he probably didnt expect as i was a young girl on my own. I asked why she didnt tell me? Why had she not mentioned 10 minutes ago when she responded to my text that she is not here? He sheepishly told me not to worry and that he would view the flat with me. I instantly could tell that this company was dodgey but i gave him a chance and sat down. He asked me which flat I wanted to see and he began searching to then tell me THE FLAT HAD BEEN LET!!! I asked him why she had not said anything to me? why she had lied to me and made me travel here at an expense when she was not here?! His response was a pathetic "maybe she didn't know" because agents let out properties that they don't know whose renting them... he obviously thought I was an idiot and at this point I stood up and left with NO apology. Having to travel all the way back, upset from frustration, I have NEVER been treated so badly by a company! Reading the awful reviews about them maybe I should of stayed clear in the first place!

Or send cleaners there as I'm sure someone in the house of 6 would have asked for it to get done.
Furthermore, getting their pretty ladies to b-shake and smile to get a boy to sign their contract and pay fees of �200 on the day. I'm a pretty boy didn't work on me, she tried a lot. Haha.
It's all far too flash, clearly they make a lot of money I clocked that straight away.
Be smart people before you waste �200 of your hard earned cash.

I didn't like being given the wrong key for my moving date.
I didn't like being passed to many different members of staff. They didn't seem very organised when there was a customer/staff error.

Their behaviour was "*" and I have never wished more ill will on a group of people before.
"I am sure all the information you have gained has been through the Internet or some incoherent person or persons who clearly do not understand contract law." (After my lawyer - specialising in tenancy law - sent them a letter)
They were Condescending, arrogant, aggressive. I could go on. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM.
